목자와 양
1. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임해 말씀하셨다.
2. “사람아, 이스라엘의 목자들을 대적하며 예언하여라. 예언하며 그들 목자들에게 말하여라. ‘주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 자기 자신들만 돌보는 이스라엘의 목자들에게 화 있을 것이다! 목자들은 양 떼를 먹여야 하지 않느냐?
3. 너희는 살찐 양을 잡아 그 기름을 먹고 양털로 옷을 지어 입지만 정작 양 떼를 먹이지 않는다.
4. 너희가 약한 사람을 강하게 하지 않고 병든 사람을 치료해 주지 않았다. 상처 입은 사람을 싸매 주지 않고 추방된 사람을 다시 데려오지 않았다. 잃어버린 사람을 찾아오지 않고 그들을 힘으로 잔인하게 다스렸다.
5. 그리하여 그들은 목자가 없어 뿔뿔이 흩어졌고 그렇게 흩어지자 모든 들짐승들의 먹이가 되고 말았다.
6. 내 양 떼가 온 산들에서 모든 높은 언덕 위를 헤매며 돌아다녔다. 내 양 떼가 온 땅 위에 흩어졌지만 아무도 그들에 대해 문의하지도 그들을 찾아보지도 않았다.
7. 그러므로 목자들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들으라.
8. 내 삶을 두고 맹세한다. 목자가 없어서 내 양 떼가 약탈물이 되고 모든 들짐승들의 먹이가 됐고 또 내 목자들은 내 양 떼를 찾지 않고 자기 자신만 돌보고 내 양 떼는 먹이지 않았다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
9. 그러므로 목자들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들으라.
10. 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 그 목자들을 대적하고 있다. 내가 내 양 떼를 그들의 손에서 찾아올 것이다. 내가 그들로 하여금 양 치는 일을 못하게 할 것이니 목자들은 더 이상 자기 자신들만 먹지 못할 것이다. 내가 내 양 떼를 그들의 입에서 건져 낼 것이니 내 양 떼는 더 이상 그들의 먹이가 되지 않을 것이다.
11. 내가 내 양 떼를 찾아보고 살펴볼 것이다.
12. 목자가 그의 흩어진 양들 가운데 있을 때 그날에 그가 그의 양 떼를 찾아 나서듯이 내가 내 양을 찾아 나설 것이다. 구름이 끼고 어두운 날에 그들이 뿔뿔이 흩어져 간 모든 곳에서 내가 그들을 구해 낼 것이다.
13. 내가 그들을 여러 민족으로부터 데려오고 그들을 여러 나라에서 모아들여서 그들의 땅에 데려올 것이다. 이스라엘의 산에서, 골짜기에서, 그 땅의 모든 주거지에서 내가 그들을 먹일 것이다.
14. 좋은 목초지에서 내가 그들을 먹일 것이고 이스라엘의 높은 산들은 그들의 우리가 될 것이다. 그곳에서 그들은 좋은 우리에 드러누우며 이스라엘 산지의 풍성한 초지에서 먹게 될 것이다.
15. 내가 친히 내 양 떼를 먹이고 그들을 눕힐 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
16. 나는 잃어버린 사람을 찾고 추방된 사람을 데려오며 상처 입은 사람을 싸매 주고 약한 사람을 강하게 할 것이다. 그러나 살찐 사람과 강한 사람은 내가 멸망시키고 정의로 그들을 먹일 것이다.
17. 너 내 양 떼야, 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 양과 양 사이에서, 숫양들과 염소들 사이에서 심판할 것이다.
18. 너희가 좋은 목초지에서 풀을 뜯는 것이 어찌 하찮은 일이냐? 너희의 나머지 풀밭을 너희는 자신의 발로 짓밟아야만 하느냐? 너희가 맑은 물을 마시는 것이 어디 하찮은 일이냐? 너희가 남은 것을 너희의 발로 더럽혀야만 하느냐?
19. 너희가 자신의 발로 짓밟은 것을 내 양 떼가 뜯어먹고 너희가 자신의 발로 더럽힌 것을 내 양 떼가 마셨다.
20. 그러므로 그들에게 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 살찐 양과 마른 양 사이에서 심판할 것이다.
21. 너희가 옆구리와 어깨로 밀어 대며 모든 약한 양들을 너희의 뿔로 받아 버렸기 때문에
22. 내가 내 양 떼를 구해 낼 것이고 그들은 더 이상 약탈당하지 않을 것이다. 내가 양과 양 사이에서 심판할 것이다.
23. 내가 그들 위에 한 목자, 곧 내 종 다윗을 세울 것이니 그가 그들을 먹일 것이다. 그가 그들을 먹이며 그들의 목자가 될 것이다.
24. 나 여호와는 그들의 하나님이 되고 내 종 다윗은 그들 가운데 왕이 될 것이다. 나 여호와가 말했다.
25. 내가 그들과 평화의 언약을 맺고 그 땅에서 악한 짐승들이 사라지게 할 것이니 그들은 광야에서도 안심하고 살며 숲 속에서도 잘 수 있을 것이다.
26. 내가 그들과 내 산 주변을 복되게 할 것이다. 내가 때마다 비를 내려 보낼 것이니 복된 비가 있을 것이다.
27. 들판의 나무들은 열매를 내고 땅은 곡식을 낼 것이며 그들은 그들의 땅에서 안전할 것이다. 내가 그들의 멍에의 굴레를 깨뜨리고 그들을 종으로 삼은 사람들의 손에서 구해 낼 때 내가 여호와임을 그들은 알게 될 것이다.
28. 그들은 저 민족들에게 더 이상 약탈당하지 않을 것이며 들짐승들도 그들을 삼키지 않을 것이다. 그들은 안심하고 살게 될 것이며 그들을 두렵게 할 사람이 없을 것이다.
29. 내가 그들을 위해 기름진 경작지를 마련해 줄 것이다. 그래서 그들은 그 땅에서 더 이상 기근으로 멸망을 당하지 않고 다시는 이방 사람들의 모욕을 당하지 않을 것이다.
30. 그러면 그들의 하나님 나 여호와가 그들과 함께할 것이고 그들은 내 백성, 곧 이스라엘 족속인 것을 그들이 알게 될 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
31. 너희는 내 양, 곧 내 풀밭의 양이다. 너희는 백성이고 나는 너희의 하나님이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.’”

1. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
2. "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds, 'Thus says the Lord GOD," Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock?
3. "You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat [sheep] without feeding the flock.
4. "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them.
5. "And they were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every beast of the field and were scattered.
6. "My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill, and My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth; and there was no one to search or seek [for them.]" '"
7. Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
8. "As I live," declares the Lord GOD, "surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but [rather] the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock;
9. therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
10. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I shall demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I shall deliver My flock from their mouth, that they may not be food for them."' "
11. For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
12. "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.
13. "And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
14. "I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down in good grazing ground, and they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
15. "I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest," declares the Lord GOD.
16. "I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment.
17. "And as for you, My flock, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats.
18. 'Is it too slight a thing for you that you should feed in the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pastures? Or that you should drink of the clear waters, that you must foul the rest with your feet?
19. 'And as for My flock, they must eat what you tread down with your feet, and they must drink what you foul with your feet!' "
20. Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD to them, "Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
21. "Because you push with side and with shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad,
22. therefore, I will deliver My flock, and they will no longer be a prey; and I will judge between one sheep and another.
23. "Then I will set over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.
24. "And I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David will be prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.
25. "And I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
26. "And I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
27. "Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
28. "And they will no longer be a prey to the nations, and the beasts of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make [them] afraid.
29. "And I will establish for them a renowned planting place, and they will not again be victims of famine in the land, and they will not endure the insults of the nations anymore.
30. "Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are My people," declares the Lord GOD.
31. "As for you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God," declares the Lord GOD.
[히브리어]제34장
1. ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר׃
2. בן אדם הנבא על רועי ישראל הנבא ואמרת אליהם לרעים כה אמר אדני יהוה הוי רעי ישראל אשר היו רעים אותם הלוא הצאן ירעו הרעים׃
3. את החלב תאכלו ואת הצמר תלבשו הבריאה תזבחו הצאן לא תרעו׃
4. את הנחלות לא חזקתם ואת החולה לא רפאתם ולנשברת לא חבשתם ואת הנדחת לא השבתם ואת האבדת לא בקשתם ובחזקה רדיתם אתם ובפרך׃
5. ותפוצינה מבלי רעה ותהיינה לאכלה לכל חית השדה ותפוצינה׃
6. ישגו צאני בכל ההרים ועל כל גבעה רמה ועל כל פני הארץ נפצו צאני ואין דורש ואין מבקש׃
7. לכן רעים שמעו את דבר יהוה׃
8. חי אני נאם אדני יהוה אם לא יען היות צאני לבז ותהיינה צאני לאכלה לכל חית השדה מאין רעה ולא דרשו רעי את צאני וירעו הרעים אותם ואת צאני לא רעו׃
9. לכן הרעים שמעו דבר יהוה׃
10. כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אל הרעים ודרשתי את צאני מידם והשבתים מרעות צאן ולא ירעו עוד הרעים אותם והצלתי צאני מפיהם ולא תהיין להם לאכלה׃
11. כי כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אני ודרשתי את צאני ובקרתים׃
12. כבקרת רעה עדרו ביום היותו בתוך צאנו נפרשות כן אבקר את צאני והצלתי אתהם מכל המקומת אשר נפצו שם ביום ענן וערפל׃
13. והוצאתים מן העמים וקבצתים מן הארצות והביאתים אל אדמתם ורעיתים אל הרי ישראל באפיקים ובכל מושבי הארץ׃
14. במרעה טוב ארעה אתם ובהרי מרום ישראל יהיה נוהם שם תרבצנה בנוה טוב ומרעה שמן תרעינה אל הרי ישראל׃
15. אני ארעה צאני ואני ארביצם נאם אדני יהוה׃
16. את האבדת אבקש ואת הנדחת אשיב ולנשברת אחבש ואת החולה אחזק ואת השמנה ואת החזקה אשמיד ארענה במשפט׃
17. ואתנה צאני כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני שפט בין שה לשה לאילים ולעתודים׃
18. המעט מכם המרעה הטוב תרעו ויתר מרעיכם תרמסו ברגליכם ומשקע מים תשתו ואת הנותרים ברגליכם תרפשון׃
19. וצאני מרמס רגליכם תרעינה ומרפש רגליכם תשתינה׃
20. לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה אליהם הנני אני ושפטתי בין שה בריה ובין שה רזה׃
21. יען בצד ובכתף תהדפו ובקרניכם תנגחו כל הנחלות עד אשר הפיצותם אותנה אל החוצה׃
22. והושעתי לצאני ולא תהיינה עוד לבז ושפטתי בין שה לשה׃
23. והקמתי עליהם רעה אחד ורעה אתהן את עבדי דויד הוא ירעה אתם והוא יהיה להן לרעה׃
24. ואני יהוה אהיה להם לאלהים ועבדי דוד נשיא בתוכם אני יהוה דברתי׃
25. וכרתי להם ברית שלום והשבתי חיה רעה מן הארץ וישבו במדבר לבטח וישנו ביערים׃
26. ונתתי אותם וסביבות גבעתי ברכה והורדתי הגשם בעתו גשמי ברכה יהיו׃
27. ונתן עץ השדה את פריו והארץ תתן יבולה והיו על אדמתם לבטח וידעו כי אני יהוה בשברי את מטות עלם והצלתים מיד העבדים בהם׃
28. ולא יהיו עוד בז לגוים וחית הארץ לא תאכלם וישבו לבטח ואין מחריד׃
29. והקמתי להם מטע לשם ולא יהיו עוד אספי רעב בארץ ולא ישאו עוד כלמת הגוים׃
30. וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם אתם והמה עמי בית ישראל נאם אדני יהוה׃
31. ואתן צאני צאן מרעיתי אדם אתם אני אלהיכם נאם אדני יהוה׃
