[우리말성경]제39장
1. “너 사람아, 곡을 대적해 예언하며 말하여라. ‘주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 로스와 메섹과 두발 왕 곡아, 내가 너를 대적한다.
2. 내가 너를 돌려 세우며 이끌고 올 것이다. 그리고 멀리 북쪽에서 데려와 너로 하여금 이스라엘의 산들을 공격하게 할 것이다.
3. 그리고 내가 네 왼손에 있는 활을 꺾고 네 오른손에 있는 화살을 떨어뜨릴 것이다.
4. 너와 함께 한 네 모든 군대와 백성들과 더불어 너는 이스라엘의 산들 위에 쓰러질 것이다. 내가 너를 온갖 종류의 사나운 새들과 들판의 짐승들에게 먹이로 줄 것이다.
5. 너는 들판 위에 쓰러질 것이다. 내가 말했다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
6. 내가 마곡에게 또 해안 지역에서 안심하고 살고 있는 사람들에게 불을 보낼 것이니 내가 여호와임을 그들은 알게 될 것이다.
7. 내가 내 백성 이스라엘 가운데 내 거룩한 이름을 알리고 내 거룩한 이름이 더 이상 모독당하지 않게 할 것이다. 그러면 내가 여호와, 이스라엘의 거룩한 이임을 저 민족들은 알게 될 것이다.
8. 때가 오고 있으니 이뤄질 것이다. 나 주 여호와의 말이다. 이날이 바로 내가 말한 그날이다.
9. 그러면 이스라엘의 여러 성읍들에 사는 사람들이 나와서 큰 방패와 작은 방패, 활과 화살, 전투용 곤봉과 창과 같은 무기에 불을 붙여서 태워 버릴 것이다. 그들은 그것들로 7년 동안 불태울 것이다.
10. 그들이 그 무기를 불태울 것이기 때문에 그들은 들판에서 나무를 모으거나 숲에서 나무를 베어 내지 않을 것이다. 그리고 그들의 것을 약탈해 간 사람들을 약탈할 것이고 그들의 것을 노략질 한 사람들의 것을 노략질 할 것이다. 나 주 여호와의 말이다.
11. 그날에 내가 곡에게, 이스라엘 안의 바다 동쪽을 지나다니는 사람들의 골짜기에 매장지를 줄 것이다. 그것이 오고가는 사람들을 가로막을 것이다. 곡과 그의 모든 무리가 그곳에 묻힐 것이기에 그들이 그곳을 하몬곡 골짜기라고 부를 것이다.
12. 이스라엘 족속은 그 땅을 깨끗하게 하려고 7개월에 걸쳐서 그들을 매장할 것이다.
13. 그 땅의 모든 백성은 그들을 매장할 것이다. 그 일로 인해 그들은 유명하게 될 것이다. 그날에 나는 영광을 받을 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.
14. 그 땅을 깨끗하게 하기 위해 그들은 계속해서 사람들을 고용해서 그 땅을 돌아다니며 땅 위에 남아 있는 것들을 매장할 것이다. 7개월이 끝날 때 그들은 수색을 시작할 것이다.
15. 수색하는 사람들은 그 땅을 돌아다니다가 그 가운데 한 사람이 사람의 뼈를 보게 되면 그는 그 옆에 푯말을 세울 것이며 매장하는 사람들은 그것을 하몬곡 골짜기에다 매장할 것이다.
16. 그 성읍의 이름 또한 하모나라고 할 것이다. 이렇게 그들은 그 땅을 깨끗하게 할 것이다.’
17. 사람아, 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 너는 각종 새와 모든 들짐승에게 이렇게 말하여라. ‘너희는 사방에서 모여 내가 너희를 위해 준비한 내 희생제사, 곧 이스라엘 산들 위에서 있을 큰 희생제사에 오라. 그곳에서 너희는 고기를 먹고 피를 마실 것이다.
18. 숫양과 어린 양과 염소와 황소와 같은 바산의 살진 짐승들을 먹듯이 너희가 용사들의 살을 먹고 그 땅 왕들의 피를 마실 것이다.
19. 내가 너희를 위해 준비한 희생제사에서 너희는 기름을 배불리 먹고 피를 취할 때까지 마실 것이다.
20. 너희는 내 식탁에서 말과 기마병과 용사들과 모든 군사들과 함께 배불리 먹을 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.’
21. 내가 저 민족들 가운데 내 영광을 드러낼 것이니 내가 행한 내 심판과 그들 위에 얹은 내 손을 모든 민족이 보게 될 것이다.
22. 그러면 그날 이후에 내가 그들의 하나님 여호와임을 이스라엘 족속은 알게 될 것이다.
23. 그리고 이스라엘의 족속이 내게 신실하지 못했기 때문에 그들의 죄로 인해 그들이 포로로 잡혀갔음을 이방 사람들이 알게 될 것이다. 내가 그들에게 내 얼굴을 가렸다. 내가 그들을 원수들의 손에 넘겨줘서 그들은 모두 칼로 쓰러지게 된 것이다.
24. 나는 그들의 부정과 그들의 범죄에 따라 그들을 대했다. 나는 그들에게서 내 얼굴을 가렸다.
25. 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. 내가 이제 야곱의 포로 된 사람들을 돌아오게 하고 이스라엘 족속 모두를 긍휼히 여길 것이며 내 거룩한 이름을 위해 열정을 다 할 것이다.
26. 그러면 그들은 그들의 땅에서 안심하며 살고 그들에게 두려움을 주는 사람이 없을 때 그들의 수치와 그들이 내게 신실하지 못했던 모든 배신을 감당하게 될 것이다.
27. 내가 족속들로부터 그들을 돌아오게 하고 원수들의 땅들에서 내가 그들을 불러 모아서 많은 민족들이 보는 앞에서 그들을 통해 내 거룩함을 드러낼 때
28. 내가 그들의 하나님 여호와임을 그들은 알게 될 것이다. 내가 그들을 민족들의 포로로 보냈지만 내가 그들을 그들의 땅으로 불러 모아서 그들 가운데 어느 누구도 그곳에 더 이상 남아 있게 하지 않을 것이다.
29. 나는 더 이상 내 얼굴을 그들에게서 가리지 않을 것이다. 내가 내 영을 이스라엘 족속에게 부어 주었기 때문이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.”
[NASB]제39장
1. "And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD," Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal;
2. and I shall turn you around, drive you on, take you up from the remotest parts of the north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel.
3. "And I shall strike your bow from your left hand, and dash down your arrows from your right hand.
4. "You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I shall give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field.
5. "You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken," declares the Lord GOD.
6. "And I shall send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the LORD.
7. "And My holy name I shall make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I shall not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8. "Behold, it is coming and it shall be done," declares the Lord GOD. "That is the day of which I have spoken.
9. "Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out, and make fires with the weapons and burn [them,] both shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears and for seven years they will make fires of them.
10. "And they will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, for they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoil of those who despoiled them, and seize the plunder of those who plundered them," declares the Lord GOD.
11. "And it will come about on that day that I shall give Gog a burial ground there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block off the passers-by. So they will bury Gog there with all his multitude, and they will call [it] the valley of Hamon-gog.
12. "For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.
13. "Even all the people of the land will bury [them;] and it will be to their renown [on] the day that I glorify Myself," declares the Lord GOD.
14. "And they will set apart men who will constantly pass through the land, burying those who were passing through, even those left on the surface of the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search.
15. "And as those who pass through the land pass through and anyone sees a man's bone, then he will set up a marker by it until the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
16. "And even [the] name of [the] city will be Hamonah. So they will cleanse the land." '
17. "And as for you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Speak to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field," Assemble and come, gather from every side to My sacrifice which I am going to sacrifice for you, as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat flesh and drink blood.
18. "You shall eat the flesh of mighty men, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, as [though they were] rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19. "So you will eat fat until you are glutted, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20. "And you will be glutted at My table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all the men of war," declares the Lord GOD.
21. "And I shall set My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.
22. "And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God from that day onward.
23. "And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity because they acted treacherously against Me, and I hid My face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and all of them fell by the sword.
24. "According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them." '"
25. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Now I shall restore the fortunes of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I shall be jealous for My holy name.
26. "And they shall forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their [own] land with no one to make them afraid.
27. "When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of the many nations.
28. "Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them [again] to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer.
29. "And I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel," declares the Lord GOD.
[히브리어]제39장
1. ואתה בן אדם הנבא על גוג ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אליך גוג נשיא ראש משך ותבל׃
2. ושבבתיך וששאתיך והעליתיך מירכתי צפון והבאותך על הרי ישראל׃
3. והכיתי קשתך מיד שמאולך וחציך מיד ימינך אפיל׃
4. על הרי ישראל תפול אתה וכל אגפיך ועמים אשר אתך לעיט צפור כל כנף וחית השדה נתתיך לאכלה׃
5. על פני השדה תפול כי אני דברתי נאם אדני יהוה׃
6. ושלחתי אש במגוג ובישבי האיים לבטח וידעו כי אני יהוה׃
7. ואת שם קדשי אודיע בתוך עמי ישראל ולא אחל את שם קדשי עוד וידעו הגוים כי אני יהוה קדוש בישראל׃
8. הנה באה ונהיתה נאם אדני יהוה הוא היום אשר דברתי׃
9. ויצאו ישבי ערי ישראל ובערו והשיקו בנשק ומגן וצנה בקשת ובחצים ובמקל יד וברמח ובערו בהם אש שבע שנים׃
10. ולא ישאו עצים מן השדה ולא יחטבו מן היערים כי בנשק יבערו אש ושללו את שלליהם ובזזו את בזזיהם נאם אדני יהוה׃
11. והיה ביום ההוא אתן לגוג מקום שם קבר בישראל גי העברים קדמת הים וחסמת היא את העברים וקברו שם את גוג ואת כל המונה וקראו גיא המון גוג׃
12. וקברום בית ישראל למען טהר את הארץ שבעה חדשים׃
13. וקברו כל עם הארץ והיה להם לשם יום הכבדי נאם אדני יהוה׃
14. ואנשי תמיד יבדילו עברים בארץ מקברים את העברים את הנותרים על פני הארץ לטהרה מקצה שבעה חדשים יחקרו׃
15. ועברו העברים בארץ וראה עצם אדם ובנה אצלו ציון עד קברו אתו המקברים אל גיא המון גוג׃
16. וגם שם עיר המונה וטהרו הארץ׃
17. ואתה בן אדם כה אמר אדני יהוה אמר לצפור כל כנף ולכל חית השדה הקבצו ובאו האספו מסביב על זבחי אשר אני זבח לכם זבח גדול על הרי ישראל ואכלתם בשר ושתיתם דם׃
18. בשר גבורים תאכלו ודם נשיאי הארץ תשתו אילים כרים ועתודים פרים מריאי בשן כלם׃
19. ואכלתם חלב לשבעה ושתיתם דם לשכרון מזבחי אשר זבחתי לכם׃
20. ושבעתם על שלחני סוס ורכב גבור וכל איש מלחמה נאם אדני יהוה׃
21. ונתתי את כבודי בגוים וראו כל הגוים את משפטי אשר עשיתי ואת ידי אשר שמתי בהם׃
22. וידעו בית ישראל כי אני יהוה אלהיהם מן היום ההוא והלאה׃
23. וידעו הגוים כי בעונם גלו בית ישראל על אשר מעלו בי ואסתר פני מהם ואתנם ביד צריהם ויפלו בחרב כלם׃
24. כטמאתם וכפשעיהם עשיתי אתם ואסתר פני מהם׃
25. לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה עתה אשיב את שבית יעקב ורחמתי כל בית ישראל וקנאתי לשם קדשי׃
26. ונשו את כלמתם ואת כל מעלם אשר מעלו בי בשבתם על אדמתם לבטח ואין מחריד׃
27. בשובבי אותם מן העמים וקבצתי אתם מארצות איביהם ונקדשתי בם לעיני הגוים רבים׃
28. וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם בהגלותי אתם אל הגוים וכנסתים על אדמתם ולא אותיר עוד מהם שם׃
29. ולא אסתיר עוד פני מהם אשר שפכתי את רוחי על בית ישראל נאם אדני יהוה׃
