5월 18일 스펄전 아침묵상 “그 안에는 신성의 모든 충만이 육체로 거하시고 너희도 그 안에서 충만하여졌으니” [골로새서 2장 9-10절]
May 18 "In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him" (Colossians 2: 9-10). All the attributes of Christ, as God and man, are at our disposal. He cannot endow us with the attributes of deity, but He has done all that can be done. How vast His grace, how firm His faithfulness, how unchangeable, how infinite His power, how limitless is His knowledge! All these are made the pillars of the temple of salvation by the Lord Jesus, and all are covenanted to us as our inheritance. The whole of Christ, in His adorable character as the Son of God, is givento us to enjoy. His wisdom is our direction, His knowledge our instruction, His power our protection, His justice our surety, His love our comfort, and His mercy our solace. He holds back nothing from us. Instead, He opens the recesses of the Mountain of God and bids us dig in the mines for the hidden treasures. ...
