36:1 “너 사람아, 너는 이스라엘의 산들을 향하여 이렇게 예언하여라. 선포하기를 ‘오, 이스라엘의 산들아, 주의 말씀을 들어라.
36:2 주 하나님께서 말씀하신다. 네 대적이 너 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 말하기를 ‘하하, 옛적부터 있던 저 높은 지대가 이제 우리 차지가 되었다!’ 하면서, 기뻐하고 있다.’ 하여라.”
36:3 “그러므로 너는 이스라엘의 산들을 향하여 이렇게 예언하여라. 선포하기를 ‘주 하나님께서 말씀하신다. 너희 대적들이 사방에서 몰려와 너희를 황폐하게 만들고, 너희 온 땅을 짓밟고 삼켜서 너희로 다른 이방 민족들의 차지가 되게 하였으므로, 너희가 세상 사람들의 입에 오르내리면서 그들의 비웃음거리가 되고 말았다.
36:4 그러므로 이스라엘의 산들아, 주 하나님의 말씀을 들어라. 주 하나님께서 이스라엘의 모든 산들과 언덕들과 시내들과 골짜기들과 폐허가 된 황무지들에게, 그리고 너희 사방에 여전히 남아 있는 이방 민족들에게 약탈의 대상이 되고 비웃음거리가 된 황폐한 이스라엘의 성읍들에게 말씀하신다.
36:5 내 땅 이스라엘이 망하는 것을 크게 조롱하고 심히 기뻐하면서, 그 땅을 약탈하고 빼앗아 자기들의 소유로 삼아버린 민족들 가운데 지금 남아 있는 이방인들에게, 특히 에돔 족속에게 내가 맹렬한 질투로 분노의 불길을 내뿜을 것이다. 이는 나 주 하나님의 말이다.’ 하여라.”
36:6 “그러므로 너는 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 예언하고, 또 이스라엘의 모든 산들과 언덕들과 시내들과 골짜기들에게 이렇게 전하여라. 선포하기를 ‘주 하나님께서 말씀하신다. 너희가 지금껏 온 땅의 이방 민족들에게 조롱과 수치를 받아왔으니, 이제는 내가 너희를 위해 저들에게 내 맹렬한 질투와 분노의 불길을 내뿜겠다.
36:7 그러므로 내가 맹세하건대, 이스라엘의 산들아, 그동안 너를 비웃고 모욕한 네 사방의 이방 민족들이 이제는 그 모욕과 비웃음을 반드시 되돌려 받을 것이다.’ 하여라.”
36:8 ○ “그러나 너희 이스라엘의 산들아, 너희는 이제 곧 고국으로 돌아올 내 백성 이스라엘을 위하여 다시 푸른 가지를 힘차게 내뻗고 각종 과실을 풍성히 맺도록 하여라.
36:9 이제는 내가 돌이켜 너희와 함께 하고, 너희를 다시 사랑으로 돌보겠다. 그리하여 사람들로 하여금 너희를 경작하게 하고 씨를 뿌리게 할 것이다.
36:10 내가 또 너희 위에 많은 사람들 곧 이스라엘 백성들로 넘쳐나게 할 것이니, 그들이 너희의 모든 성읍들에 모여 살면서 폐허의 빈 땅 위에 새로운 건물들을 지을 것이다.
36:11 내가 너희 이스라엘 땅 위의 모든 곳에 사람들과 짐승들로 많게 하고, 더욱 불어나게 하며, 심히 번성하게 할 것이다. 그리하여 내가 예전처럼 너희 위에 사람들이 정착하여 살게 하고, 오히려 예전보다 더욱 좋게 하고 더욱 잘 살게 하겠다. 그제야 너희가 나를 ‘주’인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
36:12 내가 참으로 너희 이스라엘 땅 위에 많은 사람들 곧 내 백성 이스라엘로 다시 지나다니게 할 것이다. 그때에 그들은 너희를 차지할 것이고, 너희는 다시 그들의 소유가 될 것인데, 이후로 너희는 두 번 다시 내 백성 이스라엘로 하여금 그들의 자식을 다른 이방 민족들에게 빼앗기지 않게 할 것이다.
36:13 나 주 하나님이 말한다. 이스라엘 땅아, 세상 사람들이 너희를 두고 말하기를 ‘너는 사람들을 집어삼키는 땅이요, 자기 나라 백성을 빼앗겨버린 땅이다!’ 하고, 손가락질하며 비웃는다.
36:14 그러나 이후로 너희는 더 이상 사람들을 집어삼키지 않을 것이고, 더 이상 네 나라 백성을 빼앗기지도 않을 것이다. 이는 나 주 하나님의 말이다.
36:15 이스라엘 땅아, 내가 또 이후로는 너로 하여금 더 이상 뭇 나라들의 모욕을 받지 않게 하고, 뭇 민족들의 비방을 듣지 않게 하며, 다시는 네 나라 백성을 넘어뜨리거나 빼앗기지 않게 할 것이다. 이는 나 주 하나님의 말이다.”
36:16 ○ 주의 말씀이 내게 또 내렸다.
36:17 “너 사람아, 이스라엘 백성들이 옛적 자기들의 본래 땅에 살고 있을 때에 그들은 온갖 악한 행실로 그 땅을 심히 더럽혔다. 그래서 내가 보기에, 그때 그들의 행실은 마치 월경 중에 있는 여인의 부정함과 같았다.
36:18 그들은 죄 없는 사람들을 죽여 그들의 피로 땅을 적셨고, 온갖 이방 우상들을 섬김으로써 그 땅을 크게 더럽혔으므로, 내가 내 맹렬한 분노를 그들의 머리 위에 쏟아 부었다.
36:19 그래서 내가 그들의 악한 행실대로 그들을 심판하여, 그들을 그 땅에서 내쫓아 온 세상 뭇 나라들 가운데 산산이 흩어버렸고, 온 땅의 뭇 민족들 가운데 뿔뿔이 헤쳐 놓았다.
36:20 그러므로 그들이 이르는 곳마다 뭇 나라들과 민족들 사이에서 내 거룩한 이름이 그들로 인해 더럽혀졌으니, 그것은 그 땅의 사람들이 그들 이스라엘 백성을 가리켜 말하기를 ‘저들은 주의 백성들이라는데, 어째서 자기들의 땅에서 쫓겨나야 했던 거지?’ 하며, 흉을 보았기 때문이다.
36:21 이와 같이 내 백성 이스라엘이 어디를 가든지 그곳에서 나의 거룩한 이름이 더럽혀졌으므로, 내가 나의 거룩한 이름이 계속해서 더럽혀지는 것을 더 이상 그대로 두고 볼 수 없었다.”
36:22 ○ “그러므로 너는 이스라엘 백성에게 이렇게 전하여라. 선포하기를 ‘주 하나님께서 말씀하신다. 이스라엘 사람들아, 내가 너희를 다시 고국 땅으로 데리고 들어가는 것은 너희의 행실이 옳아서가 아니다. 다만 너희가 이르는 곳마다 그 땅의 이방 민족들 가운데서 더럽혀 놓은 나의 거룩한 이름을 회복시키기 위해서이다.
36:23 온 땅의 뭇 나라들과 민족들 가운데서 더럽혀진 내 이름, 곧 너희가 이르는 곳마다 그들 가운데서 더럽혀진 나의 큰 이름을 내가 거룩하게 하겠다. 그래서 이제 내가 이방 민족들이 모두 지켜보는 가운데 너희를 통해 내 거룩함을 밝히 드러낼 것이니, 그때서야 온 땅의 모든 사람들이 내가 ‘주’인 줄 알게 될 것이다. 이는 나 주 하나님의 말이다.
36:24 곧 내가 너희를 온 세상의 뭇 나라들 가운데서 이끌어 내고, 온 땅의 뭇 민족들 가운데서 모아들여, 너희를 모두 인도하여 너희의 본래 땅으로 데려갈 것이다.
36:25 그런 뒤, 내가 너희 몸에 맑은 물을 뿌려 너희 더러움을 다 씻겨냄으로써 너희를 정결하게 할 것이니, 곧 너희의 모든 더러움과 모든 우상숭배의 죄악에서 너희를 정결하게 할 것이다.
36:26 그때에 내가 또 너희 속에 새 영을 넣어주고, 너희에게 새 마음을 불어넣어 주겠다. 곧 내가 너희 육신에서 돌처럼 굳은 마음을 제거하고, 살처럼 부드러운 마음을 심어주겠다.
36:27 그리고 내가 또 내 영을 너희 속에 두어, 너희로 내 모든 율례를 따르게 할 것이니, 그때에 너희가 내 모든 규례를 지켜 행할 것이다.

가족 내에서 유일한 기독교인인 소남(Sonam, 가명)자매는 두명의 아들을 키우고 있는 싱글맘입니다. 그녀의 어머니는 소남자매의 기독교 신앙에 반대하여 신앙을 포기할 것을 강요하고 있습니다. 그녀가 신앙을 굳게 지키도록 기도해 주세요. 부탄에서는 예배와 기도를 위해 장소를 빌리는 것이 허락되지 않습니다. 이러한 여파는 결국 가정교회들이 모임을 지속할 수 없게 만듭니다. 부탄 교회들에게 예배처소가 허락되고 교회들이 모임을 중단하고 흩어지지 않도록 기도해 주세요.

1. "And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, ' O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.
2. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Because the enemy has spoken against you,' Aha! 'and,' The everlasting heights have become our possession, '
3. therefore, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "For good cause they have made you desolate and crushed you from every side, that you should become a possession of the rest of the nations, and you have been taken up in the talk and the whispering of the people."' "
4. 'Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD. Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities, which have become a prey and a derision to the rest of the nations which are round about,
5. therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, "Surely in the fire of My jealousy I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy [and] with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey."
6. 'Therefore, prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, "Thus says the Lord GOD,' Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My wrath because you have endured the insults of the nations. '
7. "Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, 'I have sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults.
8. 'But you, O mountains of Israel, you will put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come.
9. 'For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be cultivated and sown.
10. 'And I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities will be inhabited, and the waste places will be rebuilt.
11. 'And I will multiply on you man and beast; and they will increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as you were formerly and will treat you better than at the first. Thus you will know that I am the LORD.
12. 'Yes, I will cause men-- My people Israel-- to walk on you and possess you, so that you will become their inheritance and never again bereave them of children.'
13. "Thus says the Lord GOD, 'Because they say to you," You are a devourer of men and have bereaved your nation of children, "
14. therefore, you will no longer devour men, and no longer bereave your nation of children, 'declares the Lord GOD.
15. "And I will not let you hear insults from the nations anymore, nor will you bear disgrace from the peoples any longer, nor will you cause your nation to stumble any longer," declares the Lord GOD. '"
16. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
17. "Son of man, when the house of Israel was living in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
18. "Therefore, I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols.
19. "Also I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the lands. According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
20. "When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD; yet they have come out of His land.'
21. "But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
22. "Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord GOD," It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
23. "And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD," declares the Lord GOD, " when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.
24. "For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, and bring you into your own land.
25. "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26. "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27. "And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
