창세기(Genesis)[우리말성경]제1장
하나님께서 천지를 창조하심
1. 하나님께서 태초에 하늘과 땅을 창조하셨습니다.
2. 그 땅은 형태가 없고 비어 있었으며 어둠이 깊은 물 위에 있었고 하나님의 영은 수면 위에 움직이고 계셨습니다.
3. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “빛이 있으라” 하시니 빛이 생겼습니다.
4. 하나님께서 보시기에 그 빛이 좋았습니다. 하나님께서는 빛을 어둠과 나누셨습니다.
5. 하나님께서 그 빛을 ‘낮’이라 부르시고 그 어둠을 ‘밤’이라 부르셨습니다. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 첫째 날이었습니다.
6. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “물 가운데 공간이 생겨 물과 물을 나누라” 하셨습니다.
7. 이처럼 하나님께서 공간을 만드셔서 공간 아래의 물과 공간 위의 물을 나누시니 그대로 됐습니다.
8. 하나님께서 이 공간을 ‘하늘’이라 부르셨습니다. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 둘째 날이었습니다.
9. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “하늘 아래의 물은 한 곳에 모이고 뭍이 드러나라” 하시니 그대로 됐습니다.
10. 하나님께서 이 뭍을 ‘땅’이라 부르시고 모인 물을 ‘바다’라 부르셨습니다. 하나님께서 보시기에 좋았습니다.
11. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “땅은 식물, 곧 씨를 맺는 식물과 씨가 든 열매를 맺는 나무를 그 종류대로 땅 위에 내라” 하시니 그대로 됐습니다.
12. 땅이 식물, 곧 씨를 맺는 식물을 그 종류대로, 씨가 든 열매를 맺는 나무를 그 종류대로 냈습니다. 하나님께서 보시기에 좋았습니다.
13. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 셋째 날이었습니다.
14. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “하늘 공간에 빛들이 생겨 낮과 밤을 나누고 절기들과 날짜들 및 연도들을 나타내는 표시가 되게 하라.
15. 그리고 이것들이 하늘 공간의 빛이 돼 땅에 비추게 하라” 하시니 그대로 됐습니다.
16. 하나님께서 두 개의 큰 빛을 만들고 그 가운데 큰 것으로는 낮을 다스리게 하시고 작은 것으로는 밤을 다스리게 하셨습니다. 또한 별들도 만드셨습니다.
17. 하나님께서 이것들을 하늘 공간에 두셔서 땅을 비추게 하시고
18. 낮과 밤을 다스리고 빛과 어둠을 나누게 하셨습니다. 하나님께서 보시기에 좋았습니다.
19. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 넷째 날이었습니다.
20. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “물에는 생물 떼가 번성하고 새들은 땅 위 하늘에서 날아다니라” 하셨습니다.
21. 하나님께서 큰 바다 생물들과 물에서 번성하는 온갖 생물들을 그 종류대로, 온갖 날개 달린 새들을 그 종류대로 창조하셨습니다. 하나님께서 보시기에 좋았습니다.
22. 하나님께서 그들에게 복을 주시며 말씀하시기를 “새끼를 많이 낳고 번성해 바닷물에 가득 채우라. 새들은 땅에서 번성하라” 하셨습니다.
23. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 다섯째 날이었습니다.
24. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “땅은 생물을 그 종류대로, 곧 가축과 땅 위에 기는 것과 들짐승을 그 종류대로 내라” 하시니 그대로 됐습니다.
25. 하나님께서 들짐승을 그 종류대로, 가축을 그 종류대로, 땅에 기는 모든 것을 그 종류대로 만드셨습니다. 하나님께서 보시기에 좋았습니다.
26. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “우리가 우리의 형상대로 우리의 모양을 따라 사람을 만들어 그들이 바다의 물고기와 공중의 새와 가축과 온 땅과 땅 위에 기는 모든 것을 다스리게 하자” 하시고
27. 하나님께서 사람을 그분의 형상대로 창조하시니, 곧 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 창조하시되 하나님께서 그들을 남자와 여자로 창조하셨습니다.
28. 하나님께서 그들에게 복을 주시며 그들에게 말씀하시기를 “자식을 많이 낳고 번성해 땅에 가득하고 땅을 정복하라. 바다의 물고기와 공중의 새와 땅 위에 기는 모든 생물을 다스리라” 하셨습니다.
29. 하나님께서 말씀하시기를 “내가 땅 위의 씨 맺는 온갖 식물과 씨가 든 열매를 맺는 온갖 나무를 너희에게 주었으니 이것들이 너희의 먹을 양식이 될 것이다.
30. 그리고 땅의 모든 짐승과 공중의 모든 새와 땅 위에 기는 모든 것들, 곧 생명 있는 모든 것들에게는 내가 온갖 푸른 풀을 먹이로 주었다” 하시니 그대로 됐습니다.
31. 하나님께서 자신이 만드신 모든 것을 보시니 참 좋았습니다. 저녁이 되고 아침이 되니 여섯째 날이었습니다.

1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
4. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning -- the first day.
6. And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
7. So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
8. God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning -- the second day.
9. And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.
10. God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.
11. Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
12. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
13. And there was evening, and there was morning -- the third day.
14. And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
15. and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so.
16. God made two great lights -- the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
17. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,
18. to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
19. And there was evening, and there was morning -- the fourth day.
20. And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
21. So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
22. God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth."
23. And there was evening, and there was morning -- the fifth day.
24. And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so.
25. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26. Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
29. Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
30. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground -- everything that has the breath of life in it -- I give every green plant for food." And it was so.
31. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning -- the sixth day.

1. בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ׃
2. והארץ היתה תהו ובהו וחשך על פני תהום ורוח אלהים מרחפת על פני המים׃
3. ויאמר אלהים יהי אור ויהי אור׃
4. וירא אלהים את האור כי טוב ויבדל אלהים בין האור ובין החשך׃
5. ויקרא אלהים לאור יום ולחשך קרא לילה ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום אחד׃
6. ויאמר אלהים יהי רקיע בתוך המים ויהי מבדיל בין מים למים׃
7. ויעש אלהים את הרקיע ויבדל בין המים אשר מתחת לרקיע ובין המים אשר מעל לרקיע ויהי כן׃
8. ויקרא אלהים לרקיע שמים ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום שני׃
9. ויאמר אלהים יקוו המים מתחת השמים אל מקום אחד ותראה היבשה ויהי כן׃
10. ויקרא אלהים ליבשה ארץ ולמקוה המים קרא ימים וירא אלהים כי טוב׃
11. ויאמר אלהים תדשא הארץ דשא עשב מזריע זרע עץ פרי עשה פרי למינו אשר זרעו בו על הארץ ויהי כן׃
12. ותוצא הארץ דשא עשב מזריע זרע למינהו ועץ עשה פרי אשר זרעו בו למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב׃
13. ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום שלישי׃
14. ויאמר אלהים יהי מארת ברקיע השמים להבדיל בין היום ובין הלילה והיו לאתת ולמועדים ולימים ושנים׃
15. והיו למאורת ברקיע השמים להאיר על הארץ ויהי כן׃
16. ויעש אלהים את שני המארת הגדלים את המאור הגדל לממשלת היום ואת המאור הקטן לממשלת הלילה ואת הכוכבים׃
17. ויתן אתם אלהים ברקיע השמים להאיר על הארץ׃
18. ולמשל ביום ובלילה ולהבדיל בין האור ובין החשך וירא אלהים כי טוב׃
19. ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום רביעי׃
20. ויאמר אלהים ישרצו המים שרץ נפש חיה ועוף יעופף על הארץ על פני רקיע השמים׃
21. ויברא אלהים את התנינם הגדלים ואת כל נפש החיה הרמשת אשר שרצו המים למינהם ואת כל עוף כנף למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב׃
22. ויברך אתם אלהים לאמר פרו ורבו ומלאו את המים בימים והעוף ירב בארץ׃
23. ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום חמישי׃
24. ויאמר אלהים תוצא הארץ נפש חיה למינה בהמה ורמש וחיתו ארץ למינה ויהי כן׃
25. ויעש אלהים את חית הארץ למינה ואת הבהמה למינה ואת כל רמש האדמה למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב׃
26. ויאמר אלהים נעשה אדם בצלמנו כדמותנו וירדו בדגת הים ובעוף השמים ובבהמה ובכל הארץ ובכל הרמש הרמש על הארץ׃
27. ויברא אלהים את האדם בצלמו בצלם אלהים ברא אתו זכר ונקבה ברא אתם׃
28. ויברך אתם אלהים ויאמר להם אלהים פרו ורבו ומלאו את הארץ וכבשה ורדו בדגת הים ובעוף השמים ובכל חיה הרמשת על הארץ׃
29. ויאמר אלהים הנה נתתי לכם את כל עשב זרע זרע אשר על פני כל הארץ ואת כל העץ אשר בו פרי עץ זרע זרע לכם יהיה לאכלה׃
30. ולכל חית הארץ ולכל עוף השמים ולכל רומש על הארץ אשר בו נפש חיה את כל ירק עשב לאכלה ויהי כן׃
31. וירא אלהים את כל אשר עשה והנה טוב מאד ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום הששי׃
