솔로몬이 성전을 지음

1.  솔로몬은 예루살렘의 모리아 산에 여호와의 성전을 건축하기 시작했습니다. 그곳은 여호와께서 그의 아버지 다윗에게 나타나셨던 곳이며 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당으로 다윗이 결정한 장소였습니다.

2.  솔로몬이 짓기 시작한 때는 그가 다스린 지 4년째 해 둘째 달 둘째 날이었습니다.

3.  솔로몬이 세운 하나님의 성전 기초는 옛날에 사용하던 자로 길이가 60규빗, 너비가 20규빗이었습니다.

4.  성전 앞 현관은 성전 너비에 맞춰 너비는 20규빗, 높이는 120규빗이었습니다. 그는 현관 안에는 순금을 입혔습니다.

5.  본당의 천장에는 잣나무를 댔고 겉에 순금을 입혔으며 종려나무와 사슬 무늬를 새겼습니다.

6.  또 성전을 보석으로 아름답게 꾸몄습니다. 그가 사용한 금은 바르와임 금이었습니다.

7.  그는 성전의 천장과 들보와 문지방과 벽과 문짝에 금을 입혔고 벽에는 그룹의 모양을 새겼습니다.

8.  또 지성소를 만들었는데 그 길이는 성전 너비와 같이 20규빗, 너비도 20규빗이었습니다. 그 안쪽에는 순금 600달란트를 입혔습니다.

9.  못의 무게는 금 50세겔이나 됐고 또한 다락에 있는 방에도 금을 입혔습니다.

10.  지성소에는 두 그룹 모양을 만들어 금을 입혀 두었으며

11.  그룹들의 날개 길이는 모두 20규빗이었습니다. 왼편 그룹의 한쪽 날개는 5규빗으로 성전 벽에 닿았고 다른 한쪽 날개도 길이가 5규빗으로 오른편 그룹의 날개에 닿았습니다.

12.  오른편 그룹의 한쪽 날개는 길이가 5규빗으로 성전 벽에 닿았고 다른 한쪽 날개도 역시 길이가 5규빗으로 왼편 그룹의 날개에 닿았습니다.

13.  이 그룹들의 날개는 20규빗입니다. 그들은 성전 바깥쪽을 향해 발로 서 있었습니다.

14.  솔로몬은 성전 휘장을 파랑색, 자주색, 진홍색 실과 고운 베로 만들고 그 위에 그룹의 모양을 수놓았습니다.

15.  성전 앞쪽에는 두 기둥을 만들었는데 그 높이는 35규빗이었고 각 기둥 꼭대기의 머리는 5규빗이었습니다.

16.  또 성소 안과 같이 사슬을 만들어 기둥 위에 두르고 100개의 석류를 만들어 사슬에 달았습니다.

17.  그는 그 두 기둥을 성전 앞에 세웠는데 하나는 남쪽에, 다른 하나는 북쪽에 세웠습니다. 남쪽 기둥은 야긴이라 부르고 북쪽 기둥은 보아스라 불렀습니다.

1.  Then Solomon began to build the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the place provided by David.

2.  He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.

3.  The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide (using the cubit of the old standard).

4.  The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits long across the width of the building and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.

5.  He paneled the main hall with pine and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree and chain designs.

6.  He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim.

7.  He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.

8.  He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple -- twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold.

9.  The gold nails weighed fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.

10.  In the Most Holy Place he made a pair of sculptured cherubim and overlaid them with gold.

11.  The total wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long and touched the temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the other cherub.

12.  Similarly one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched the other temple wall, and its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the first cherub.

13.  The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, facing the main hall.

14.  He made the curtain of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim worked into it.

15.  In the front of the temple he made two pillars, which together were thirty-five cubits long, each with a capital on top measuring five cubits.

16.  He made interwoven chains and put them on top of the pillars. He also made a hundred pomegranates and attached them to the chains.

17.  He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.

1.  ויחל שלמה לבנות את בית יהוה בירושלם בהר המוריה אשר נראה לדויד אביהו אשר הכין במקום דויד בגרן ארנן היבוסי׃

2.  ויחל לבנות בחדש השני בשני בשנת ארבע למלכותו׃

3.  ואלה הוסד שלמה לבנות את בית האלהים הארך אמות במדה הראשונה אמות ששים ורחב אמות עשרים׃

4.  והאולם אשר על פני הארך על פני רחב הבית אמות עשרים והגבה מאה ועשרים ויצפהו מפנימה זהב טהור׃

5.  ואת הבית הגדול חפה עץ ברושים ויחפהו זהב טוב ויעל עליו תמרים ושרשרות׃

6.  ויצף את הבית אבן יקרה לתפארת והזהב זהב פרוים׃

7.  ויחף את הבית הקרות הספים וקירותיו ודלתותיו זהב ופתח כרובים על הקירות׃

8.  ויעש את בית קדש הקדשים ארכו על פני רחב הבית אמות עשרים ורחבו אמות עשרים ויחפהו זהב טוב לככרים שש מאות׃

9.  ומשקל למסמרות לשקלים חמשים זהב והעליות חפה זהב׃

10.  ויעש בבית קדש הקדשים כרובים שנים מעשה צעצעים ויצפו אתם זהב׃

11.  וכנפי הכרובים ארכם אמות עשרים כנף האחד לאמות חמש מגעת לקיר הבית והכנף האחרת אמות חמש מגיע לכנף הכרוב האחר׃

12.  וכנף הכרוב האחד אמות חמש מגיע לקיר הבית והכנף האחרת אמות חמש דבקה לכנף הכרוב האחר׃

13.  כנפי הכרובים האלה פרשים אמות עשרים והם עמדים על רגליהם ופניהם לבית׃

14.  ויעש את הפרכת תכלת וארגמן וכרמיל ובוץ ויעל עליו כרובים׃

15.  ויעש לפני הבית עמודים שנים אמות שלשים וחמש ארך והצפת אשר על ראשו אמות חמש׃

16.  ויעש שרשרות בדביר ויתן על ראש העמדים ויעש רמונים מאה ויתן בשרשרות׃

17.  ויקם את העמודים על פני ההיכל אחד מימין ואחד מהשמאול ויקרא שם הימיני יכין ושם השמאלי בעז׃
