Hear ye now what the LORD saith: Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. ב שִׁמְעוּ הָרִים אֶת-רִיב יְהוָה, וְהָאֵתָנִים מוֹסְדֵי אָרֶץ: כִּי רִיב לַיהוָה עִם-עַמּוֹ, וְעִם-יִשְׂרָאֵל יִתְוַכָּח. 2 Hear, O ye mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye enduring rocks, the foundations of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with His people, and He will plead with Israel. ג עַמִּי מֶה-עָשִׂיתִי לְךָ, וּמָה הֶלְאֵתִיךָ: עֲנֵה בִי. 3 O My people, what have I done unto thee? And wherein have I wearied thee? Testify against Me. ד כִּי הֶעֱלִתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, וּמִבֵּית עֲבָדִים פְּדִיתִיךָ; וָאֶשְׁלַח לְפָנֶיךָ, אֶת-מֹשֶׁה אַהֲרֹן וּמִרְיָם. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. ה עַמִּי, זְכָר-נָא מַה-יָּעַץ בָּלָק מֶלֶךְ מוֹאָב, וּמֶה-עָנָה אֹתוֹ, בִּלְעָם בֶּן-בְּעוֹר--מִן-הַשִּׁטִּים, עַד-הַגִּלְגָּל, לְמַעַן, דַּעַת צִדְקוֹת יְהוָה. 5 O My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him; from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteous acts of the LORD. ו בַּמָּה אֲקַדֵּם יְהוָה, אִכַּף לֵאלֹהֵי מָרוֹם; הַאֲקַדְּמֶנּוּ בְעוֹלוֹת, בַּעֲגָלִים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה. 6 'Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt-offerings, with calves of a year old? ז הֲיִרְצֶה יְהוָה בְּאַלְפֵי אֵילִים, בְּרִבְבוֹת נַחֲלֵי-שָׁמֶן; הַאֶתֵּן בְּכוֹרִי פִּשְׁעִי, פְּרִי בִטְנִי חַטַּאת נַפְשִׁי. 7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?' ח הִגִּיד לְךָ אָדָם, מַה-טּוֹב; וּמָה-יְהוָה דּוֹרֵשׁ מִמְּךָ, כִּי אִם-עֲשׂוֹת מִשְׁפָּט וְאַהֲבַת חֶסֶד, וְהַצְנֵעַ לֶכֶת, עִם-אֱלֹהֶיךָ. {ס} 8 It hath been told thee, O man, what is good, and what the LORD doth require of thee: only to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. {S} ט קוֹל יְהוָה לָעִיר יִקְרָא, וְתוּשִׁיָּה יִרְאֶה שְׁמֶךָ; שִׁמְעוּ מַטֶּה, וּמִי יְעָדָהּ. 9 Hark! the LORD crieth unto the city--and it is wisdom to have regard for Thy name--hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it. י עוֹד, הַאִשׁ בֵּית רָשָׁע--אֹצְרוֹת, רֶשַׁע; וְאֵיפַת רָזוֹן, זְעוּמָה. 10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable? יא הַאֶזְכֶּה, בְּמֹאזְנֵי רֶשַׁע; וּבְכִיס, אַבְנֵי מִרְמָה. 11 'Shall I be pure with wicked balances, and with a bag of deceitful weights?' יב אֲשֶׁר עֲשִׁירֶיהָ מָלְאוּ חָמָס, וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ דִּבְּרוּ-שָׁקֶר; וּלְשׁוֹנָם, רְמִיָּה בְּפִיהֶם. 12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. יג וְגַם-אֲנִי, הֶחֱלֵיתִי הַכּוֹתֶךָ--הַשְׁמֵם, עַל-חַטֹּאתֶךָ. 13 Therefore I also do smite thee with a grievous wound; I do make thee desolate because of thy sins. יד אַתָּה תֹאכַל וְלֹא תִשְׂבָּע, וְיֶשְׁחֲךָ בְּקִרְבֶּךָ; וְתַסֵּג וְלֹא תַפְלִיט, וַאֲשֶׁר תְּפַלֵּט לַחֶרֶב אֶתֵּן. 14 Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy sickness shall be in thine inward parts; and thou shalt conceive, but shalt not bring forth; and whomsoever thou bringest forth will I give up to the sword. טו אַתָּה תִזְרַע, וְלֹא תִקְצוֹר; אַתָּה תִדְרֹךְ-זַיִת וְלֹא-תָסוּךְ שֶׁמֶן, וְתִירוֹשׁ וְלֹא תִשְׁתֶּה-יָּיִן. 15 Thou shalt sow, but shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but shalt not anoint thee with oil; and the vintage, but shalt not drink wine. טז וְיִשְׁתַּמֵּר חֻקּוֹת עָמְרִי, וְכֹל מַעֲשֵׂה בֵית-אַחְאָב, וַתֵּלְכוּ, בְּמֹעֲצוֹתָם--לְמַעַן תִּתִּי אֹתְךָ לְשַׁמָּה, וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ לִשְׁרֵקָה, וְחֶרְפַּת עַמִּי, תִּשָּׂאוּ. {פ} 16 For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I may make thee an astonishment, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing; and ye shall bear the reproach of My people.
[미]6:1 여호와께서 하시는 말씀을 들어라. "일어나라. 산들 앞에서 변호해 보아라. 언덕들에게 네 이야기를 들려 주어라.
[미]6:2 산들아, 나 여호와의 고발을 들어라. 땅의 기초야, 나 주의 말에 귀 기울여라. 나 여호와가 나의 백성을 고발하였고 이스라엘의 죄를 밝힐 것이다.
[미]6:3 내 백성아, 내가 너희에게 무슨 잘못을 했느냐? 내가 너희를 무슨 일로 지치게 했느냐? 대답해 보아라.
[미]6:4 나는 너희를 이집트 땅에서 데려왔고 노예였던 너희를 해방시켜 주었다. 모세와 아론과 미리암을 너희에게 보내 주었다.
[미]6:5 내 백성아, 모압 왕 발락의 악한 계획을 기억하여라. 브올의 아들 발람이 발락에게 한 말을 기억하여라. 싯딤에서 길갈에 이르기까지 어떤 일이 일어났는지 기억하여라. 그러면 나 여호와의 의를 알게 될 것이다."
[미]6:6 내가 무엇을 가지고 여호와께 나아갈까? 무엇을 가지고 높으신 하나님께 예배할까? 태워 드리는 제물인 번제물로 일 년 된 송아지를 가지고 주께 나아갈까?
[미]6:7 여호와께서 천 마리 양을 기뻐하실까? 강줄기 만 개를 채울 만한 기름을 기뻐하실까? 내 허물을 벗기 위해 내 맏아들이라도 바칠까? 내 죄를 씻기 위해 내 몸으로 낳은 자식이라도 바칠까?
[미]6:8 사람아! 그분이 네게 말씀하셨다. 무엇이 선하며, 여호와께서 너희에게 요구하시는 것이 무엇이냐? 그것은 의를 행하고 인자를 사랑하며 너희 하나님과 함께 겸손히 행하는 것이 아니냐?
[미]6:9 여호와께서 성을 향해 외치시니, 들어라! 지혜로운 사람은 주를 존경한다. "심판의 막대기로 심판하실 분을 조심하여라.
