Amos Chapter 3 עָמוֹס
א שִׁמְעוּ אֶת-הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה, אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה עֲלֵיכֶם--בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: עַל כָּל-הַמִּשְׁפָּחָה, אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלֵיתִי מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לֵאמֹר. 1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying:
ב רַק אֶתְכֶם יָדַעְתִּי, מִכֹּל מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הָאֲדָמָה; עַל-כֵּן אֶפְקֹד עֲלֵיכֶם, אֵת כָּל-עֲוֺנֹתֵיכֶם. 2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities.
ג הֲיֵלְכוּ שְׁנַיִם, יַחְדָּו, בִּלְתִּי, אִם-נוֹעָדוּ. 3 Will two walk together, except they have agreed?
ד הֲיִשְׁאַג אַרְיֵה בַּיַּעַר, וְטֶרֶף אֵין לוֹ; הֲיִתֵּן כְּפִיר קוֹלוֹ מִמְּעֹנָתוֹ, בִּלְתִּי אִם-לָכָד. 4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? Will a young lion give forth his voice out of his den, if he have taken nothing?
ה הֲתִפֹּל צִפּוֹר עַל-פַּח הָאָרֶץ, וּמוֹקֵשׁ אֵין לָהּ; הֲיַעֲלֶה-פַּח, מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, וְלָכוֹד, לֹא יִלְכּוֹד. 5 Will a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where there is no lure for it? Will a snare spring up from the ground, and have taken nothing at all?
ו אִם-יִתָּקַע שׁוֹפָר בְּעִיר, וְעָם לֹא יֶחֱרָדוּ; אִם-תִּהְיֶה רָעָה בְּעִיר, וַיהוָה לֹא עָשָׂה. 6 Shall the horn be blown in a city, and the people not tremble? Shall evil befall a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
ז כִּי לֹא יַעֲשֶׂה אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, דָּבָר, כִּי אִם-גָּלָה סוֹדוֹ, אֶל-עֲבָדָיו הַנְּבִיאִים. 7 For the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His counsel unto His servants the prophets.
ח אַרְיֵה שָׁאָג, מִי לֹא יִירָא; אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה דִּבֶּר, מִי לֹא יִנָּבֵא. 8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
ט הַשְׁמִיעוּ עַל-אַרְמְנוֹת בְּאַשְׁדּוֹד, וְעַל-אַרְמְנוֹת בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם; וְאִמְרוּ, הֵאָסְפוּ עַל-הָרֵי שֹׁמְרוֹן, וּרְאוּ מְהוּמֹת רַבּוֹת בְּתוֹכָהּ, וַעֲשׁוּקִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ. 9 Proclaim it upon the palaces at Ashdod, and upon the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say: 'Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great confusions therein, and the oppressions in the midst thereof.'
י וְלֹא-יָדְעוּ עֲשׂוֹת-נְכֹחָה, נְאֻם-יְהוָה; הָאוֹצְרִים חָמָס וָשֹׁד, בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֵיהֶם. {פ} 10 For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. {P}
יא לָכֵן, כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, צַר, וּסְבִיב הָאָרֶץ; וְהוֹרִיד מִמֵּךְ עֻזֵּךְ, וְנָבֹזּוּ אַרְמְנוֹתָיִךְ. 11 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: An adversary, even round about the land! And he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.
יב כֹּה, אָמַר יְהוָה, כַּאֲשֶׁר יַצִּיל הָרֹעֶה מִפִּי הָאֲרִי שְׁתֵּי כְרָעַיִם, אוֹ בְדַל-אֹזֶן--כֵּן יִנָּצְלוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, הַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּשֹׁמְרוֹן, בִּפְאַת מִטָּה, וּבִדְמֶשֶׁק עָרֶשׂ. 12 Thus saith the LORD: As the shepherd rescueth out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel that dwell in Samaria escape with the corner of a couch, and the leg of a bed.
יג שִׁמְעוּ וְהָעִידוּ, בְּבֵית יַעֲקֹב--נְאֻם-אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאוֹת. 13 Hear ye, and testify against the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts.
יד כִּי, בְּיוֹם פָּקְדִי פִשְׁעֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל--עָלָיו: וּפָקַדְתִּי, עַל-מִזְבְּחוֹת בֵּית-אֵל, וְנִגְדְּעוּ קַרְנוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ, וְנָפְלוּ לָאָרֶץ. 14 For in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also punish the altars of Beth-el, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.
טו וְהִכֵּיתִי בֵית-הַחֹרֶף, עַל-בֵּית הַקָּיִץ; וְאָבְדוּ בָּתֵּי הַשֵּׁן, וְסָפוּ בָּתִּים רַבִּים--נְאֻם-יְהוָה. {ס} 15 And I will smite the winter-house with the summer-house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD. {S}
이스라엘을 향한 경고
[암]3:1 이스라엘 백성아, 여호와께서 너희에게 하신 말씀을 들어라. 주께서 이집트에서 인도해 내신 백성 모두에게 하신 말씀을 들어라.
[암]3:2 "나는 이 땅의 모든 족속 가운데서 오직 너희만을 알았다. 그러므로 너희가 행한 모든 죄대로 너희를 심판하겠다."
[암]3:3 서로 약속도 하지 않고 어떻게 두 사람이 같이 갈 수 있겠느냐?
[암]3:4 숲속의 사자가 먹이를 잡지 않고서야 어찌 울부짖겠느냐? 젊은 사자가 잡은 것도 없이 어찌 굴에서 소리를 지르겠느냐?
[암]3:5 어찌 새가 미끼도 없는 덫에 걸리겠느냐? 아무것도 걸린 것이 없는데 어찌 덫이 튀어오르며 닫히겠느냐?
[암]3:6 나팔을 불어 경고하는데 어찌 백성이 두려워 떨지 않겠느냐? 여호와께서 보내시지 않았는데 어찌 성에 재앙이 내리겠느냐?
[암]3:7 주 여호와께서 일을 하실 때는 반드시 그 종인 예언자들에게 미리 알려 주신다.
[암]3:8 사자가 부르짖는데 누가 두려워하지 않겠느냐? 주 여호와께서 말씀하시는데 누가 예언하지 않겠느냐?
[암]3:9 아스돗의 요새들과 이집트 땅의 요새들에게 이렇게 전하여라. "사마리아의 산으로 와서 저 큰 혼란을 보아라. 백성이 다른 백성을 해치는 저 모습을 보아라.
[암]3:10 이 백성은 올바른 일을 할 줄 모른다." 여호와의 말씀이다. "그들의 요새는 강제로 빼앗은 보물로 가득하다."
[암]3:11 그러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "적군이 이 땅을 차지할 것이다. 요새들을 무너뜨리고 그 안에 감추어 둔 보물을 빼앗아 갈 것이다."
[암]3:12 여호와께서 말씀하셨다. "목자가 사자 입에서 자기 양의 두 다리뼈나 귓조각을 구해내는 것처럼, 사마리아에 살고 있던 이스라엘 백성도 침대의 모서리나 부러진 의자의 조각처럼 몇몇 사람만이 피할 수 있을 것이다.
[암]3:13 너희는 들어라! 너희는 야곱의 집에 증언하라!" 만군의 하나님 주 여호와의 말씀이다.
[암]3:14 "이스라엘 백성이 죄를 지었으므로 내가 그들을 심판할 것이며, 그 날에 벧엘의 제단도 무너뜨리겠다. 그 제단 뿔을 꺾어 땅에 떨어뜨릴 것이다.
[암]3:15 내가 겨울 별장과 여름 별장을 부수겠다. 상아로 장식한 집을 무너뜨리겠다. 큰 집들이 허물어질 것이다." 여호와의 말씀이다.
