Jonah Chapter 2 יוֹנָה א  וַיְמַן יְהוָה דָּג גָּדוֹל, לִבְלֹעַ אֶת-יוֹנָה; וַיְהִי יוֹנָה בִּמְעֵי הַדָּג, שְׁלֹשָׁה יָמִים וּשְׁלֹשָׁה לֵילוֹת. 1 And the LORD prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. ב  וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל יוֹנָה, אֶל-יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו, מִמְּעֵי, הַדָּגָה. 2 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly. ג  וַיֹּאמֶר, קָרָאתִי מִצָּרָה לִי אֶל-יְהוָה--וַיַּעֲנֵנִי; מִבֶּטֶן שְׁאוֹל שִׁוַּעְתִּי, שָׁמַעְתָּ קוֹלִי. 3 And he said: I called out of mine affliction unto the LORD, and He answered me; out of the belly of the nether-world cried I, and Thou heardest my voice. ד  וַתַּשְׁלִיכֵנִי מְצוּלָה בִּלְבַב יַמִּים, וְנָהָר יְסֹבְבֵנִי; כָּל-מִשְׁבָּרֶיךָ וְגַלֶּיךָ, עָלַי עָבָרוּ. 4 For Thou didst cast me into the depth, in the heart of the seas, and the flood was round about me; all Thy waves and Thy billows passed over me. ה  וַאֲנִי אָמַרְתִּי, נִגְרַשְׁתִּי מִנֶּגֶד עֵינֶיךָ; אַךְ אוֹסִיף לְהַבִּיט, אֶל-הֵיכַל קָדְשֶׁךָ. 5 And I said: 'I am cast out from before Thine eyes'; yet I will look again toward Thy holy temple. ו  אֲפָפוּנִי מַיִם עַד-נֶפֶשׁ, תְּהוֹם יְסֹבְבֵנִי; סוּף, חָבוּשׁ לְרֹאשִׁי. 6 The waters compassed me about, even to the soul; the deep was round about me; the weeds were wrapped about my head. ז  לְקִצְבֵי הָרִים יָרַדְתִּי, הָאָרֶץ בְּרִחֶיהָ בַעֲדִי לְעוֹלָם; וַתַּעַל מִשַּׁחַת חַיַּי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי. 7 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars closed upon me for ever; yet hast Thou brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. ח  בְּהִתְעַטֵּף עָלַי נַפְשִׁי, אֶת-יְהוָה זָכָרְתִּי; וַתָּבוֹא אֵלֶיךָ תְּפִלָּתִי, אֶל-הֵיכַל קָדְשֶׁךָ. 8 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; and my prayer came in unto Thee, into Thy holy temple. ט  מְשַׁמְּרִים, הַבְלֵי-שָׁוְא--חַסְדָּם, יַעֲזֹבוּ. 9 They that regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy. י  וַאֲנִי, בְּקוֹל תּוֹדָה אֶזְבְּחָה-לָּךְ, אֲשֶׁר נָדַרְתִּי, אֲשַׁלֵּמָה:  יְשׁוּעָתָה, לַיהוָה.  {ס} 10 But I will sacrifice unto Thee with the voice of thanksgiving; that which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is of the LORD. {S} יא  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, לַדָּג; וַיָּקֵא אֶת-יוֹנָה, אֶל-הַיַּבָּשָׁה.  {פ} 11 And the LORD spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. [욘]2:1 요나는 물고기 뱃속에 있으면서 그의 하나님 여호와께 기도했습니다. [욘]2:2 "내가 고통 중에서 여호와께 기도했더니, 주께서 내게 응답하셨습니다. 내가 죽게 되었을 때에 부르짖었더니, 주께서 내 목소리를 들어 주셨습니다. [욘]2:3 여호와께서 나를 깊은 바다로 던져 넣으셨습니다. 물이 나를 에워싸고 주의 큰 물결과 파도가 나를 덮쳤습니다. [욘]2:4 나는 '내가 주 앞에서 쫓겨났으나 다시 주의 거룩한 성전을 보기를 원합니다'라고 말했습니다. [욘]2:5 바닷물이 나를 덮어 죽게 되었습니다. 깊은 바다가 나를 에워쌌고 바다풀이 내 머리를 휘감았습니다. [욘]2:6 내가 저 깊은 바닷속 산의 밑까지 내려갔습니다. 영원히 이 땅의 감옥에 갇혔다고 생각했습니다. 그러나 나의 하나님 여호와여, 주께서 나를 구덩이로부터 건져 주셨습니다. [욘]2:7 내 목숨이 거의 사라져 갈 때에 여호와를 기억하였더니 나의 기도가 주의 거룩한 성전에 이르렀습니다. [욘]2:8 헛된 우상을 섬기는 사람들은 주께서 베푸신 은혜를 저버렸습니다. [욘]2:9 그러나 나는 주께 감사하고 찬양하며 제물을 바칩니다. 주께 맹세한 것은 무엇이든 지키겠습니다. 구원은 여호와께 있습니다." [욘]2:10 여호와께서 그 물고기에게 말씀하시니 물고기가 요나를 마른 땅 위에 뱉어 놓았습니다.
