1 The LORD said to Moses, 1 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 2 "Say to the Israelites: 'When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the LORD's commands- 2 "너는 이스라엘 자손에게 다음과 같이 일러라.어떤 사람이 실수로 잘못을 저질러, 나 주가 하지 말라고 명한 것을 하나라도 어겼으면, 다음과 같이 하여야 한다. 3 " 'If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the LORD a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. 3 특히, 기름부음을 받고 임명받은 제사장이 죄를 지어서, 그 벌이 백성에게 돌아가게 되었을 경우에, 그 제사장이 지은 죄를 용서받으려면, 소 떼 가운데서 흠 없는 수송아지 한 마리를 골라 속죄제물로 주에게 바쳐야 한다. 4 He is to present the bull at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD. It is a sin offering. 24 그 숫염소의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 주 앞 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 곳에서 그 숫염소를 잡아야 한다. 이것이 속죄제물이다. 25 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. 25 제사장은 그 속죄제물의 피를 얼마 받아다가, 손가락으로 찍어서 번제단의 뿔에 바르고, 나머지 피는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다. 26 He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven. 31 제물을 가져 온 사람이, 화목제물의 기름기를 떼어 내듯이, 기름기를 모두 떼어 내면, 제사장은 그것을 받아 제단에 올려놓고, 나 주가 그 향기를 맡고 기뻐하도록 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여, 제사장이, 제물을 가져 온 사람의 죄를 속하여 주면, 그는 용서를 받는다. 32 " 'If he brings a lamb as his sin offering, he is to bring a female without defect. 32 평민이 속죄제사 제물로 양을 가져 오려면, 그는 흠 없는 암컷을 가져 와서, 33 He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it for a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered. 33 그 속죄제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 곳에서 그 암양을 잡아서 속죄제물로 삼아야 한다. 34 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. 34 그러면 제사장은 그 속죄제물의 피를 얼마 받아다가, 손가락으로 찍어서 번제단의 뿔에 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다. 35 He shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the lamb of the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar on top of the offerings made to the LORD by fire. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven. 35 제물을 가져 온 사람이, 화목제사의 제물에서 양의 기름기를 떼어 가져 오듯이, 기름기를 모두 떼어 가져 오면, 제사장은 그 기름기를 받아서, 제단 위, 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제물 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여, 제사장이 제물을 가져 온 사람의 죄를 속하여 주면, 그는 용서를 받는다.
