땅의 분배
1. “이것들이 지파들의 이름들이다. 북쪽 끝에서부터 헤들론 길을 따라 르보하맛을 지나서 다메섹 경계에 있는 하살에논까지, 곧 북쪽으로 하맛 경계에 이르는 땅의 동쪽에서 서쪽까지는 단의 몫이다.
2. 단의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 아셀의 몫이다.
3. 아셀의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 납달리의 몫이다.
4. 납달리의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 므낫세의 몫이다.
5. 므낫세의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 에브라임의 몫이다.
6. 에브라임의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 르우벤의 몫이다.
7. 르우벤의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 유다의 몫이다.
8. 유다 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 너희가 따로 구별해 드릴 예물이다. 그곳은 넓이가 2만 5,000규빗, 길이는 동쪽에서 서쪽까지 한 지파의 몫과 같다. 그 땅 가운데 성소가 있을 것이다.
9. 너희가 여호와께 구별해 드릴 예물은 길이가 2만 5,000규빗, 넓이가 2만 규빗이다.
10. 이 거룩한 예물은 제사장들에게 속하게 될 것이다. 그것은 북쪽으로 길이가 2만 5,000규빗, 서쪽으로 넓이가 1만 규빗, 동쪽으로 넓이가 1만 규빗, 남쪽으로 길이가 2만 5,000규빗이다. 그 가운데 여호와의 성소가 있을 것이다.
11. 그곳은 제사장들을 위한 곳인데 그들은 사독의 자손들로 거룩하게 구별된 사람들로서 내가 맡긴 임무를 잘 지켰다. 레위 사람들이 길을 잘못 간 것처럼 이스라엘 자손이 길을 잘못 갔을 때 그들은 길을 잘못 가지 않은 사람들이다.

15. 나머지 5,000규빗 넓이에 2만 5,000규빗 길이의 땅은 성읍의 일반적인 용도, 곧 집터와 목초지로 사용될 것이다. 성읍이 그 한가운데 있을 것이다.
16. 이것들이 그 크기다. 북쪽으로 4,500규빗, 남쪽으로 4,500규빗, 동쪽으로 4,500규빗, 서쪽으로 4,500규빗이어야 한다.
17. 성읍의 목초지는 북쪽으로 250규빗, 남쪽으로 250규빗, 동쪽으로 250규빗, 서쪽으로 250규빗이어야 한다.
18. 거룩한 땅에 길이로 접하고 있는 그 땅의 나머지 지역은 동쪽으로 1만 규빗, 서쪽으로 1만 규빗이다. 그 땅은 거룩한 땅과 접하고 있으며 그곳에서 생산되는 것은 성읍의 일꾼들을 위한 양식이 될 것이다.
19. 이스라엘 모든 지파에서 모인 성읍의 일꾼들이 그 땅을 경작할 것이다.
20. 전체 영토는 정사각형으로 가로, 세로가 각각 2만 5,000규빗이다. 너희는 예물로 그 거룩한 땅을 성읍의 소유지와 함께 구별해 둬야 한다.
21. 거룩한 땅과 성읍의 소유지 양편에 있는 나머지 땅은 왕에게 속한다. 그 거룩한 땅의 동쪽 경계까지 2만 5,000규빗, 서쪽으로는 서쪽 경계까지 2만 5,000규빗이다. 이것은 다른 지파 몫의 땅들과 접하고 있는 곳으로 왕에게 속한 곳이다. 거룩한 땅과 성전의 성소가 그 한가운데 있을 것이다.
22. 또한 레위 사람들의 소유지와 왕에게 속한 땅의 한가운데 있는 성읍의 소유지와는 별도로 유다 경계와 베냐민 경계 사이의 땅도 왕에게 속할 것이다.
23. 나머지 지파들로 말하자면 그 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 베냐민의 몫이다.
24. 베냐민의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 시므온의 몫이다.
25. 시므온의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 잇사갈의 몫이다.
26. 잇사갈의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 스불론의 몫이다.
27. 스불론의 경계 다음 동쪽에서 서쪽까지가 갓의 몫이다.
28. 갓의 경계는 남쪽으로 다말에서 므리바 가데스의 물에까지 이르고 그리고 이집트 시내를 따라 큰 바다까지다.
29. 이것이 너희가 이스라엘 지파들에게 유산으로 나눠 줄 땅이다. 이것들이 그들의 몫이 될 것이다. 주 여호와의 말이다.”
성의 문들
30. “이것들이 그 성읍의 출입구들이다. 북쪽은 넓이가 4,500규빗이다.
31. 그 성읍의 문들은 이스라엘 지파들의 이름을 따서 지었다. 북쪽의 세 문들은 르우벤 문, 유다 문, 레위 문이다.
32. 동쪽은 넓이가 4,500규빗인데 문이 세 개로 요셉 문, 베냐민 문, 단 문이다.
33. 남쪽은 넓이를 재니 4,500규빗인데 문이 세 개로 시므온 문, 잇사갈 문, 스불론 문이다.
34. 서쪽은 넓이가 4,500규빗인데 문이 세 개로 갓 문, 아셀 문, 납달리 문이다.
35. 그 사면 둘레는 1만 8,000규빗이다. 그 성읍의 이름은 그날부터 ‘여호와 삼마’라고 할 것이다.”

1. "Now these are the names of the tribes: from the northern extremity, beside the way of Hethlon to Lebo-hamath, [as far as] Hazar-enan [ at] the border of Damascus, toward the north beside Hamath, running from east to west, Dan, one [portion.]
2. "And beside the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one [portion.]
3. "And beside the border of Asher, from the east side to the west side, Naphtali, one [portion.]
4. "And beside the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one [portion.]
5. "And beside the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one [portion.]
6. "And beside the border of Ephraim, from the east side to the west side, Reuben, one [portion.]
7. "And beside the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one [portion.]
8. "And beside the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the allotment which you shall set apart, 250000 [cubits] in width, and in length like one of the portions, from the east side to the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the middle of it.
9. "The allotment that you shall set apart to the LORD [shall be] 250000 [cubits] in length, and 100000 in width.
10. "And the holy allotment shall be for these, [namely] for the priests, toward the north 250000 [cubits in length,] toward the west 100000 in width, toward the east 100000 in width, and toward the south 250000 in length; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its midst.
11. "[It shall be] for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept My charge, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
12. "And it shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, by the border of the Levites.
13. "And alongside the border of the priests the Levites [shall have] 250000 [cubits] in length and 100000 in width. The whole length [shall be] 250000 [cubits] and the width 100000.
14. "Moreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or alienate this choice [portion] of land; for it is holy to the LORD.
15. "And the remainder, 50000 [cubits] in width and 250000 in length, shall be for common use for the city, for dwellings and for open spaces; and the city shall be in its midst.
16. "And these [shall be] its measurements: the north side 45000 [cubits,] the south side 45000 [cubits,] the east side 45000 [cubits,] and the west side 45000 [cubits.]
17. "And the city shall have open spaces: on the north 250 [cubits,] on the south 250 [cubits,] on the east 250 [cubits,] and on the west 250 [cubits.]
18. "And the remainder of the length alongside the holy allotment shall be 100000 [cubits] toward the east, and 100000 toward the west; and it shall be alongside the holy allotment. And its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.
19. "And the workers of the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it.
20. "The whole allotment [shall be] 250000 by 250000 [cubits;] you shall set apart the holy allotment, a square, with the property of the city.
21. "And the remainder [shall be] for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy allotment and of the property of the city; in front of the 250000 [cubits] of the allotment toward the east border and westward in front of the 250000 toward the west border, alongside the portions, [it shall be] for the prince. And the holy allotment and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the middle of it.
22. "And exclusive of the property of the Levites and the property of the city, [which] are in the middle of that which belongs to the prince, [everything] between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince.
23. "As for the rest of the tribes: from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one [portion.]
24. "And beside the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one [portion.]
25. "And beside the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one [portion.]
26. "And beside the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one [portion.]
27. "And beside the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one [portion.]
28. "And beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook [of Egypt,] to the Great Sea.
29. "This is the land which you shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for an inheritance, and these are their [several] portions," declares the Lord GOD.
30. "And these are the exits of the city: on the north side, 45000 [ cubits] by measurement,
31. shall be the gates of the city, named for the tribes of Israel, three gates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.
32. "And on the east side, 45000 [cubits,] shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.
33. "And on the south side, 45000 [cubits] by measurement, shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.
34. "On the west side, 45000 [cubits, shall be] three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.
35. "[The city shall be] 180000 [cubits] round about; and the name of the city from [that] day [shall be,] 'The LORD is there.'"

1. ואלה שמות השבטים מקצה צפונה אל יד דרך חתלן לבוא חמת חצר עינן גבול דמשק צפונה אל יד חמת והיו לו פאת קדים הים דן אחד׃
2. ועל גבול דן מפאת קדים עד פאת ימה אשר אחד׃
3. ועל גבול אשר מפאת קדימה ועד פאת ימה נפתלי אחד׃
4. ועל גבול נפתלי מפאת קדמה עד פאת ימה מנשה אחד׃
5. ועל גבול מנשה מפאת קדמה עד פאת ימה אפרים אחד׃
6. ועל גבול אפרים מפאת קדים ועד פאת ימה ראובן אחד׃
7. ועל גבול ראובן מפאת קדים עד פאת ימה יהודה אחד׃
8. ועל גבול יהודה מפאת קדים עד פאת ימה תהיה התרומה אשר תרימו חמשה ועשרים אלף רחב וארך כאחד החלקים מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה והיה המקדש בתוכו׃
9. התרומה אשר תרימו ליהוה ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף ורחב עשרת אלפים׃
10. ולאלה תהיה תרומת הקדש לכהנים צפונה חמשה ועשרים אלף וימה רחב עשרת אלפים וקדימה רחב עשרת אלפים ונגבה ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף והיה מקדש יהוה בתוכו׃
11. לכהנים המקדש מבני צדוק אשר שמרו משמרתי אשר לא תעו בתעות בני ישראל כאשר תעו הלוים׃
12. והיתה להם תרומיה מתרומת הארץ קדש קדשים אל גבול הלוים׃
13. והלוים לעמת גבול הכהנים חמשה ועשרים אלף ארך ורחב עשרת אלפים כל ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף ורחב עשרת אלפים׃
14. ולא ימכרו ממנו ולא ימר ולא יעבור ראשית הארץ כי קדש ליהוה׃
15. וחמשת אלפים הנותר ברחב על פני חמשה ועשרים אלף חל הוא לעיר למושב ולמגרש והיתה העיר בתוכה׃
16. ואלה מדותיה פאת צפון חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ופאת נגב חמש חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ומפאת קדים חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ופאת ימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים׃
17. והיה מגרש לעיר צפונה חמשים ומאתים ונגבה חמשים ומאתים וקדימה חמשים ומאתים וימה חמשים ומאתים׃
18. והנותר בארך לעמת תרומת הקדש עשרת אלפים קדימה ועשרת אלפים ימה והיה לעמת תרומת הקדש והיתה תבואתה ללחם לעבדי העיר׃
19. והעבד העיר יעבדוהו מכל שבטי ישראל׃
20. כל התרומה חמשה ועשרים אלף בחמשה ועשרים אלף רביעית תרימו את תרומת הקדש אל אחזת העיר׃
21. והנותר לנשיא מזה ומזה לתרומת הקדש ולאחזת העיר אל פני חמשה ועשרים אלף תרומה עד גבול קדימה וימה על פני חמשה ועשרים אלף על גבול ימה לעמת חלקים לנשיא והיתה תרומת הקדש ומקדש הבית בתוכה׃
22. ומאחזת הלוים ומאחזת העיר בתוך אשר לנשיא יהיה בין גבול יהודה ובין גבול בנימן לנשיא יהיה׃
23. ויתר השבטים מפאת קדמה עד פאת ימה בנימן אחד׃
24. ועל גבול בנימן מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה שמעון אחד׃
25. ועל גבול שמעון מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה יששכר אחד׃
26. ועל גבול יששכר מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה זבולן אחד׃
27. ועל גבול זבולן מפאת קדמה עד פאת ימה גד אחד׃
28. ועל גבול גד אל פאת נגב תימנה והיה גבול מתמר מי מריבת קדש נחלה על הים הגדול׃
29. זאת הארץ אשר תפילו מנחלה לשבטי ישראל ואלה מחלקתם נאם אדני יהוה׃
30. ואלה תוצאת העיר מפאת צפון חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים מדה׃
31. ושערי העיר על שמות שבטי ישראל שערים שלושה צפונה שער ראובן אחד שער יהודה אחד שער לוי אחד׃
32. ואל פאת קדימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ושערים שלשה ושער יוסף אחד שער בנימן אחד שער דן אחד׃
33. ופאת נגבה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים מדה ושערים שלשה שער שמעון אחד שער יששכר אחד שער זבולן אחד׃
34. פאת ימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים שעריהם שלשה שער גד אחד שער אשר אחד שער נפתלי אחד׃
35. סביב שמנה עשר אלף ושם העיר מיום יהוה שמה׃
