1월 31일 스펄전 아침묵상 “여호와 우리의 의” [예레미야 23장 6절]

January  31 "The Lord our righteousness" (Jeremiah 23: 6). It will always give a Christian the greatest calm, quiet, ease, and peace, to think of the perfect righteousness of Christ.  There are some who are always talking about corruption and t도 innate evil of the soul.  This is quite true, but why not go a little further and remember that we are "perfect in Christ Jesus?"  Surely, if we call to mind that Christ is made unto us righteousness, we will be of good cheer.  Even though distresses afflict me, Satan assaults me, and there may be many things to be experienced before I get to heaven, those are done for me in the covenant of divine grace.  There is nothing wanting in my Lord.  Christ has done it all.  On the cross, He said, "It is finished" (John 19: 30).  If it is finished, then I am complete in Him.  I can rejoice with unspeakable joy and full of glory, "not having mine own righteousness, which if of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith" (Philippians 3: 9).  When the believer says, "I live on Christ alone; I rest on Him completely for salvation; and I believe that, however unworthy, I am still saved in Jesus," then there rises up as a motive of gratitude this thought--"Will I not live for Christ?  Will I not love Him and serve Him, seeing that I am saved by His merits?"  "The love of Christ constraineth us" (2 Corinthians 5: 14). 1월31일 제목 : 우리의  의 요절 : "그의 날에 유다는 구원을 얻겠고 이스라엘은 평안히 거할 것이며 그 이름은 여호와라 우리의 의라 일컬음을 받으리라"(렘23:6) 그리스도의 완전한 의를 생각할 때 최고의 평온, 온화함, 안정과 평안이 그리스도인에게 늘 주어질 것입니다. 인간의 타고난(본래적인)심령의 악과 부패에 관하여 늘 말하는 사람들이 있습니다. 이것은 아주 사실입니다. 그러나 왜 좀더 나아가서 우리가 그리스도 예수 안에서 완전하다는 것을 기억하지 못하는가? 확실히, 만약 우리가 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 우리의 의가 되셨다는 것을 생각한다면 신날 것입니다. 환란이 나를 괴롭힐지라도. 사단이 강습(맹열한 공격)을 할지라도, 내가 천국에 이르기 전에 겪을 많은 일이 있을지라도. 이것들은 하나님의 은혜의 언약 안에서 나를 위하여 이루어지는 것입니다.  나의 주님 안에서는 부족한 것이라곤 없습니다. 그리스도께서 모든 것을 다 이루셨습니다. 십자가에서 주님은 "다 이루었다"고 말씀하셨습니다.(요19:30) 주께서 다 이루셨다면, 나는 주 안에서 완전하게 되었습니다. 그러므로 나는, "율법의 의에서 난 나의 의를 갖지 않고 오직 그리스도를 믿음으로서 하나님께로 난, 즉 믿음에 의한 하나님의  의"(빌3:9)를 갖고,  말할 수 없는 기쁨과 충만한 영광으로 기뻐할 수 있습니다.  믿는 자가 "나는 그리스도로만 살고. 구원을 위하여 온전히 그리스도만을 의지하고. 아무리 내가 무가치하더라도, 나는 여전히 예수 안에서 구원되었습니다."라고 말할 때, 주님에 대한 감사의 동기에서 이런 생각이 솟아 오를 것입니다. 나는 그리스도를 위하여 어찌 살지 않을 수 있을까? 내가 그리스도의 공로로 구원받고 있다는 것을 알면서 어찌 그리스도를 사랑하고 그리스도를 섬기지 않을 수 있을까?
