January  30 "When thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, then thou shalt bestir thyself" (2 Samuel 5: 24). The members of Christ's Church should be very prayerful, always seeking the anointing of the Holy One to rest upon their hearts, that the Kingdom of Christ may come, and that His "will be done on earth, even as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6: 10).  There are times when God seems especially to favor Zion.  Such seasons ought to be to them like "the sound of a going in the tops of mulberry trees."  We should be doubly prayerful, doubly earnest, wrestling more at the throne than has been our habit.  Oh, for Pentecostal outpourings and Pentecostal labors!  Christian, in yourself there are times "when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees."  You have a peculiar power in prayer.  The Spirit of God gives you joy and gladness.  The Scriptures is open to you.  The promises are applied.  You walk in the light of God's face.  You have a peculiar freedom and liberty in devotion and a closer communion with Christ.  Now, at such joyous periods, is the time to rouse yourself.  Now is the time to get rid of any evil habit, while God the Spirit helps your infirmities. 1월 30일 제목 : 걷는 소리 요절 : "뽕나무 꼭대기에서 걸음 걷는 소리가 들리거든 곧 동작하라 그때에 여호와가 네 앞에서 나아가서 블레셋 군대을 치리라 하신지라"(삼하5:24) 그리스도의 교회 지체(구성원)들은 늘 그들의 심령이 의지하는 성령의 기름 부움(성령충만)을 간구하면서, 그리스도의 나라가 임하도록, "그의 뜻이 하늘에서 이루어진 것같이 땅에서도 이루어지도록" 많이 기도해야 합니다. 하나님께서는 특별히 시온(zion)을 사랑하실 때가 있습니다. 그런 은혜를 주실 때는, "뽕나무 꼭대기에서 걸음 걷는 소리"같은 것이 그들에게 꼭 들릴 것입니다. 그때 우리는 갑절로 기도하고, 갑절로 열심을 내고, 평소했던 것보다 더 많이 보좌 앞에 나아가서 기도의 씨름을 해야 합니다. 오, 오순절의 성령충만과 오순절의 기도(labors)를 기억하십시오!(역자주1) 그리스도인이여, 그대에게도 "뽕나무 꼭대기에서 걸음 걷는 소리가 들릴 때"가 있습니다. 그대는 특별한 기도의 능력이 있습니다. 하나님의 성령은 그대에게 기쁨과 즐거움을 주십니다. 성경은 그대에게 열려있습니다. 성경의 약속(언약)들은 모두 그대에게 해당됩니다. 그대는 하나님 얼굴 빛 안에서 걸으십시오. 그대는 경건(기도)의 시간에 특별한 자유와 해방감을 갖을 것입니다. 그리고 그리스도와 더 가까운 친교를 할 것입니다. 이렇게 좋은(기쁜)때인 지금은 그대 자신을 일깨울 시간입니다. 바로 지금은 성령하나님께서 그대의 연약함을 도우시는 동안이므로, 모든 악습을 성령의 도우심으로 떨쳐 버릴 때입니다. 주1 행1:12-15, 2:1-4
