12월 24일 스펄전 아침묵상 “너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은.”[고린도후서 8장 9절]

December 24 "For your sakes he became poor" (2 Corinthians 8: 9). The Lord Jesus Christ was eternally rich, glorious, and exalted; but "though he was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor."  The rich saint cannot be true in his communion with his poor brethren unless he gives his substance to minister to their necessities.  Likewise, it is impossible that our divine Lord could have had fellowship with us unless He had imparted to us of His own abounding wealth and had become poor to make us rich.  Had He remained on His throne of glory, and had we continued in the ruins of the fall without receiving His salvation, communion would have been impossible on both sides.  Our position by the fall, apart from the covenant of grace, made it as impossible for fallen man to communicate with God as it is for Belial to be in agreement with Christ.  It was necessary that the righteous Savior give to His sinning brethren of His own perfection and that we, the poor guilty, should receive of His fullness grace for grace.  Thus in giving and receiving, the one might descend from the heights, and the others ascend from the depths, and so be able to embrace each other in true and hearty fellowship.  Jesus much clothe His people in His own garments, or He cannot admit them into His palace of glory.  He must wash them in His own blood, or else they will be too defiled for the embrace of His fellowship.  Believer, here is love!  For your sake the Lord Jesus became poor, that He might lift you up into communion with Himself.   12월  24일 제목 : 가난하게 되심 요절 : "우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 부요 하신 자로서 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 그의 가난함을 인하여 너희로 부요케 하려 하심 이니라"(고후8:9) 주 예수 그리스도는 영원히 부요 하시고, 영화로우시고, 높이 들리신 분이십니다. 그러나 "그는 부요 하신 자로서 그대를 위하여 가난하게 되셨습니다.(고후8:9)  부자 성도가 그의 물질(재산)을 가난한 형제들의 필요를 채우기 위하여 내어 주지 않는다면 그 형제 들과의 그의 교제는 진실할 수 없습니다. 마찬가지로 거룩하신 우리 주님도 그 자신의 풍성한 부(재산)를 우리에게 나누어 주시고 우리를 부요케 만들기 위하여 가난해 지시지 않는다면 우리와 친교를 가질 수 없습니다.(불가능합니다.)  만일 주님께서 그의 영광의 보좌에 그냥 계셨다면, 그래서 우리가 그의 구원을 받지 못하고 타락의 멸망 속에 그대로 계속 있었다면, 주님과 우리와의 양편의 친교는 불가능했을 것입니다. 타락한 우리의 처지는, 은혜의 언약 없이는, 마치 벨리알이 그리스도와 화합할 수 없는 것같이 타락한 사람이 하나님과 친교를 하는 것을 불가능하게 합니다.  의로우신 구세주께서 그의 죄 지은 형제들에게 그 자신의 온전하심을 주셔야 했고, 불상한 죄인인 우리는 그의 풍부함을 은혜에 대한 감사로 받아야만 했습니다. 이렇게 주고 받음으로써 주님(the one)은 높은 곳으로부터 낮은 곳으로 내려오시고, 우리(the others)는 깊은 곳에서 높은 곳으로 올라갔습니다. 그래서 우리는 참된 진심의 교제 속에서 서로 포옹할 수 있게 되었습니다. 예수님은 그의 백성들에게 그 자신의 옷을 입혀주시고 계십니다. 그렇지 않으면 그 백성들은 그의 영광의 궁전으로 받아들일 수 없습니다. 주님은 그의 백성을 그의 자신의 피(보혈)로 씻어 주셔야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 그들은 주님과의 포옹의 교제를 나누기 위해서는 너무 더러울 것입니다. 성도여, 여기에 위대한 사랑이 있습니다! 그대를 위하여 예수님은 그 자신과의 친교를 나누시려고 그대를 높이 들어 올리기 위하여(낮아지시고) 가난하게 되셨습니다.
