12월 28일 스펄전 아침묵상 “이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은…… 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라.” [갈라디아서 2징 20절]

"The life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God" (Galatians 2: 20).

When the Lord in mercy passed by and saw us in our blood, He first of all said, "Live," because life is one of the absolutely essential things in spiritual matters.  Until it is given, we are incapable of partaking in the things of the Kingdom.  The life which grace confers on the saints at the moment of their quickening is none other than the life of Christ.  Like the sap from the stem, faith runs into us, the branches, and establishes a living connection between our souls and Jesus.  Faith is the grace which perceives this union, having proceeded from it as its firstfruit.  Faith knows His excellence and worth, and no temptation can induce it to place its trust elsewhere.  Christ Jesus is so delighted with this heavenly grace that He never ceases to strengthen and sustain faith by the loving embrace and all-sufficient support of His eternal arms.  Here, then, is established a living, sensible, and delightful union which casts forth streams of love, confidence, sympathy, complacency, and joy, whereof both the bride and bridegroom love to drink.  When the soul can evidently perceive this oneness betweenn itself and Christ, the pulse may be felt as beating for both and the one blood as flowing through the veins of each.  Then the heart is as near heaven as it can be while on earth and is prepared for the enjoyment of the most sublime and spiritual kind of fellowship.

제목 : 믿음 안에서

요절 : "내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이라 이제 내가 육체 가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라"(갈2:20)

자비하신 주님께서 지나시며 우리의 피(아담의 피)안에 있는 우리를 보셨을 때 우선 먼저 "살라"고 말씀하셨습니다. 왜냐하면 영적인 문제에 있어서는 생명이 절대적인 필수사항의 하나이기 때문입니다. 생명이 주어지기 전에는 주님의 왕국의 국사(國事)에 전혀 참여할 수 없습니다. 성도들이 소생하는 순간에 은혜가 성도들에게 주는 생명은 그리스도의 생명(그리스도의 피의 생명) 이외의 다른 생명은 아무도 없습니다.

나무줄기에서 가지로 수액(생명)이 흐르는 것같이 믿음은(포도나무의) 가지들인 우리 안에 들어와 예수님(포도나무)과 우리의 영혼들(포도나무의 가지들) 사이에(예수님의)  생명의 연결관계(연합)를 확립해 줍니다.(역자주1)  믿음엔 이 연합에서 나온 첫 열매로서, 이 연합을 지각하는 은혜가 있습니다.  그리고 믿음은 주님이 얼마나 탁월한 분이신 것과 그 분의 위대한 가치를 압니다. 그래서 어떤 유혹도 믿음이 그의 믿음을 다른 곳에 둘 수 없도록 합니다.

예수 그리스도는 이 천국의 은혜인 믿음을 너무 기뻐하셔서 그의 영원하신 팔로 사랑스런 포옹을 하시고 또 온전히 풍족한 후원을 하심으로써, 믿음을 강건하게 유지시키는 일을 절대로 멈추지 않고 계십니다. 그래서 여기에 신부(교회)와 신랑(예수 그리스도), 둘 다 마시고 싶어하는 사랑, 확신, 동정심, 만족과 기쁨의 강물들이 흘러나오는 살아 있고, 실감할 수 있는 즐거운 연합이 확립되어 있습니다.

그 영혼이 그 자신과 그리스도 사이의 이 하나됨을 분명히 알게 되면, 그 맥박은 서로를 위하여 고동 치는 것을 느끼게 되고  한 피(그리스도의 피)가 각기의 혈관을 통하여 흐르는 것을 느끼게 될 것입니다. 그때 그 심령은 이 땅에 있는 동안 더 할 나위 없이 가장 천국에 가까이 있습니다. 그래서 가장 숭고한 영적교제의 기쁨을 누릴 준비가 되어 있습니다.
