16. 나는 복음을 부끄러워하지 않습니다. 이 복음은 유대 사람을 비롯하여 그리스 사람에게 이르기까지, 모든 믿는 사람을 구원하는 하나님의 능력입니다.
17. 하나님의 의가 복음 속에 나타납니다. 이 일은 오로지 믿음에 근거하여 일어납니다. 이것은 성경에 기록한 바 "의인은 믿음으로 살 것이다" 한 것과 같습니다.
