첫 열매와 십일조에 관한 말씀

1.  “네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 그 땅에 네가 들어가 차지하고 거기 정착할 때

2.  네가 네 하나님 여호와께서 주시는 그 땅의 흙에서 수확한 모든 것들 가운데 처음 난 열매들 얼마를 가져다가 바구니에 넣어라. 그리고 네 하나님 여호와께서 그분의 이름을 두시려고 선택하신 그곳으로 가서

3.  너는 그 당시에 있을 제사장에게 말하여라. ‘여호와께서 우리에게 주겠다고 우리 조상들에게 맹세하신 그 땅에 내가 들어오게 됐음을 내가 오늘 당신의 하나님 여호와께 고합니다.’

4.  제사장이 네 손에 있던 바구니를 가져다가 네 하나님 여호와의 제단 앞에 놓으면

5.  너는 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 말씀드려라. ‘내 조상은 거의 몰락하던 아람 사람이었는데 그가 몇몇 사람들과 함께 이집트로 내려가 거기서 살다가 크고 힘세고 큰 민족이 됐습니다.

6.  그러나 이집트 사람들이 우리를 학대하고 고된 일을 시키며 우리에게 고통을 주었습니다.

7.  그래서 우리는 우리 조상들의 하나님 여호와께 부르짖었고 여호와께서는 우리 소리를 들으셔서 우리의 비참함과 고난과 압제당하는 것을 보셨습니다.

8.  그리고 여호와께서는 강력한 손과 쭉 뻗친 팔과 큰 공포와 이적과 기사로 우리를 이집트에서 이끌어 내셨습니다.

9.  그분은 우리를 이곳까지 이끌어 주셨고 이 땅, 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 우리에게 주셨습니다.

10.  여호와여, 그리하여 지금 내가 당신께서 우리에게 주신 그 흙에서 나온 첫 열매들을 드립니다.’ 그러고 나서 그 바구니를 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 두고 그분 앞에 경배하라.

11.  그리고 너와 너희 가운데 있는 레위 사람들과 이방 사람들까지 네 하나님 여호와께서 너와 네 집안에 주신 그 모든 좋은 것들을 즐거워하라.

12.  3년째 되는 해, 곧 십일조를 드리는 해에 네가 수확한 모든 것의 십일조를 따로 떼어 놓기를 마치면 너는 그것을 레위 사람들과 이방 사람들과 고아들과 과부들에게 주어라. 그러면 그들이 네 성에서 배불리 먹을 수 있을 것이다.

13.  네 하나님 여호와께 말씀드려라. ‘내가 내 집에서 거룩한 몫을 가져다가 주께서 내게 명령하신 모든 것에 따라 레위 사람들과 이방 사람들과 고아들과 과부들에게 주었습니다. 내가 주의 명령을 제쳐 둔 적이 없고 그 가운데 어느 것도 잊은 적이 없습니다.

14.  내가 애곡하는 동안 거룩한 몫에서 떼어 먹은 적이 없고 부정한 때 그 가운데 어느 것도 쓰지 않았으며 그 가운데 어느 것도 죽은 사람에게 바치지 않았습니다. 나는 내 하나님 여호와께 순종했습니다. 내가 주께서 내게 명령하신 모든 것을 따라 했습니다.

15.  하늘에서, 주께서 계시는 거룩한 곳에서 내려다보시고 주의 백성 이스라엘과 주께서 우리 조상들에게 맹세로 약속하신 대로 우리에게 주신 그 땅, 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅을 축복해 주십시오.’”

여호와의 명령을 따르라

16.  “네 하나님 여호와께서 오늘 네게 이 규례와 법도를 따르라고 명령하신다. 삼가 네 온 마음과 네 온 영혼을 다해 그것을 지켜 행하여라.

17.  너는 오늘 오직 여호와만이 네 하나님이심을 인정하고 그분의 길을 걷고 그분의 규례와 명령과 법도를 지키며 그 음성을 들었다.

18.  여호와께서도 네게 약속하셨던 대로 오늘 너를 그분께 속한 소중한 백성으로 인정하셨으니 너는 그분의 모든 계명들을 지켜야 할 것이다.

19.  그분은 그분이 만드신 모든 민족들 가운데서 너를 칭찬과 명성과 영광으로 높이시고 그분이 약속하신 대로 네가 네 하나님 여호와께 거룩한 백성이 되게 하실 것이다.”

[NIV]제26장

1.  When you have entered the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it,

2.  take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the LORD your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name

3.  and say to the priest in office at the time, "I declare today to the LORD your God that I have come to the land the LORD swore to our forefathers to give us."

4.  The priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the altar of the LORD your God.

5.  Then you shall declare before the LORD your God: "My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down into Egypt with a few people and lived there and became a great nation, powerful and numerous.

6.  But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, putting us to hard labor.

7.  Then we cried out to the LORD, the God of our fathers, and the LORD heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression.

8.  So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with miraculous signs and wonders.

9.  He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey;

10.  and now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, O LORD, have given me." Place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before him.

11.  And you and the Levites and the aliens among you shall rejoice in all the good things the LORD your God has given to you and your household.

12.  When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.

13.  Then say to the LORD your God: "I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the alien, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.

14.  I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the LORD my God; I have done everything you commanded me.

15.  Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our forefathers, a land flowing with milk and honey."

16.  The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.

17.  You have declared this day that the LORD is your God and that you will walk in his ways, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws, and that you will obey him.

18.  And the LORD has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands.

19.  He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the LORD your God, as he promised.

1.  והיה כי תבוא אל הארץ אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך נחלה וירשתה וישבת בה׃

2.  ולקחת מראשית כל פרי האדמה אשר תביא מארצך אשר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך ושמת בטנא והלכת אל המקום אשר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשכן שמו שם׃

3.  ובאת אל הכהן אשר יהיה בימים ההם ואמרת אליו הגדתי היום ליהוה אלהיך כי באתי אל הארץ אשר נשבע יהוה לאבתינו לתת לנו׃

4.  ולקח הכהן הטנא מידך והניחו לפני מזבח יהוה אלהיך׃

5.  וענית ואמרת לפני יהוה אלהיך ארמי אבד אבי וירד מצרימה ויגר שם במתי מעט ויהי שם לגוי גדול עצום ורב׃

6.  וירעו אתנו המצרים ויענונו ויתנו עלינו עבדה קשה׃

7.  ונצעק אל יהוה אלהי אבתינו וישמע יהוה את קלנו וירא את ענינו ואת עמלנו ואת לחצנו׃

8.  ויוצאנו יהוה ממצרים ביד חזקה ובזרע נטויה ובמרא גדל ובאתות ובמפתים׃

9.  ויבאנו אל המקום הזה ויתן לנו את הארץ הזאת ארץ זבת חלב ודבש׃

10.  ועתה הנה הבאתי את ראשית פרי האדמה אשר נתתה לי יהוה והנחתו לפני יהוה אלהיך והשתחוית לפני יהוה אלהיך׃

11.  ושמחת בכל הטוב אשר נתן לך יהוה אלהיך ולביתך אתה והלוי והגר אשר בקרבך׃

12.  כי תכלה לעשר את כל מעשר תבואתך בשנה השלישת שנת המעשר ונתתה ללוי לגר ליתום ולאלמנה ואכלו בשעריך ושבעו׃

13.  ואמרת לפני יהוה אלהיך בערתי הקדש מן הבית וגם נתתיו ללוי ולגר ליתום ולאלמנה ככל מצותך אשר צויתני לא עברתי ממצותיך ולא שכחתי׃

14.  לא אכלתי באני ממנו ולא בערתי ממנו בטמא ולא נתתי ממנו למת שמעתי בקול יהוה אלהי עשיתי ככל אשר צויתני׃

15.  השקיפה ממעון קדשך מן השמים וברך את עמך את ישראל ואת האדמה אשר נתתה לנו כאשר נשבעת לאבתינו ארץ זבת חלב ודבש׃

16.  היום הזה יהוה אלהיך מצוך לעשות את החקים האלה ואת המשפטים ושמרת ועשית אותם בכל לבבך ובכל נפשך׃

17.  את יהוה האמרת היום להיות לך לאלהים וללכת בדרכיו ולשמר חקיו ומצותיו ומשפטיו ולשמע בקלו׃

18.  ויהוה האמירך היום להיות לו לעם סגלה כאשר דבר לך ולשמר כל מצותיו׃

19.  ולתתך עליון על כל הגוים אשר עשה לתהלה ולשם ולתפארת ולהיתך עם קדש ליהוה אלהיך כאשר דבר׃
